Royal Botanical Gardens 🇦🇺 Sydney

New Years Eve!!! Where would you go? Sydney and a view of the opera house was the dream. Sometimes in your travels things line up. Our best friends got engaged in Australia and invited us to join them in Sydney to celebrate. They had grand plans for the Royal Botanical Gardens, so we booked the tickets on the day they were available and I felt like I would need to sell an organ to pay for them. But what followed was worth it... A perfect dinner, the food was great as to be expected, with a view of the opera house, the flyover shows and the 9pm smaller firework display. An open air dance floor on the river front, a place for us to share our years worth saved up moves with Australia. A bar with quick service, not always the case at big events, so worth giving some credit for. A midnight countdown for the ages. A crazy fireworks display and atmosphere I'll remember forever. A perfect way to bring in the new year. I look forward to big new years celebrations returning!!!
