This medieval city, with its charming cobblestone streets and stunning architecture, really took my breath away. I started my visit at the Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio horse race takes place. The square is free to explore and is surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. I also toured the Siena Cathedral, which had an entrance fee of €8. The intricate design and stunning frescoes were worth every euro. Nearby, the Santa Maria della Scala museum offers a glimpse into Siena’s history for €9. The nearby Torre del Mangia, with its €10 entrance fee, provided an amazing panoramic view of the city and the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
