Come to the Tbilisi Castle and be a princess for a day. The castle, which dates back to the 4th century AD, is as old as the city of Tbilisi itself and is the only private castle in Tbilisi. Looking up, you'll see the famous Mother statue; looking down, the lights of the old town, and hot air balloons gently floating in the sky. Staying here is just too dreamy! The castle has more than a dozen rooms with different themes. We stayed in the Armory Room, which can accommodate 4 people, and it feels like taking modern home appliances back to the Middle Ages. The common areas include a lounge, an infinity pool, and a garden, a typical oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle, very comfortable. The downside is the inconvenient transportation. The castle is located halfway up the hill and requires climbing stairs for 3-5 minutes to reach. Of course, the hotel can also help with luggage for a fee, and tips are given as you see fit. Also, since it is a castle, the overall tone and environment are somewhat dim. All in all, if you have enough time in Tbilisi, or are a fan of medieval civilization, it's well worth a try.
