Within Tongji University there’s a great coffee shop you must visit. This adorable campus shop gives you the option to work or read with soft music, homey ambience and nice coffee. Tongji House is also a gift shop for Tongji University souvenirs. This place is mostly frequented by students or alumni, to held study meetings or hang out. For the few in-campus options to get coffee, Tongji House it’s by far the best location. Additionally, Tongji House is said to give a proportion of its earnings for university/alumni’s outreach and inreach projects. Personally, I’ll always prefer those shops/enterprises with clear social responsibility. Big plus if they have good coffee.
