Breckenridge: A Mountain Moment That Stays With You Breckenridge feels like a place where a cozy town and a big mountain meet perfectly. Just above it, the ski resort spreads across wide, snowy slopes that offer everything from easy glides to fast, thrilling runs. From Denver, the drive follows I-70 west through the mountains, then Highway 9 straight into town.
