The best crayfish in Shanghai, I vote for Shiliuqu!

What to eat for a weekend gathering? Crayfish, of course! I heard that Shiliuqu is the top crayfish restaurant in Shanghai, so we decided to have our gathering here. 🌈Shiliuqu has two whole floors, with a spacious and bright dining hall as well as private rooms. There's even a dedicated dressing table for women outside the restrooms. The chocolate fountain with marshmallows and small pear soup are self-serve. ✅Brave Ma Crayfish Their crayfish are available all year round, and the portions are generous. They use chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns flown in from Sichuan. The crayfish meat is tender and bouncy, with a spicy kick and a hint of sweetness, which suits the Shanghainese palate. ✅Roche Shrimp Shiliuqu started out specializing in Roche shrimp. We ordered the garlic flavor. After peeling the shell, you can see plenty of shrimp roe and paste. The garlic flavor permeates the large Roche shrimp, making it chewy and irresistible. ✅Running Beef Skewers This popular dish uses only M6-grade Wagyu beef, marinated with various ingredients. Each piece is bigger than my thumb, and it's juicy and flavorful. No wonder it's been popular for so many years. ✅Popular Pork Jowl Legend has it that only one kilogram of pork jowl can be produced from each pig. Also known as pork belly, it's grilled with cumin and chili peppers. The meat is tender and spicy, making it hard to resist. ✅Hunan-style Braised Chicken Feet These chicken feet are addictive, and the portion is quite generous. The chicken feet are stewed until they are soft and glutinous, with just the right amount of spice. I could eat a whole bowl of rice with them. 📍No. 1392, Gumei Road, Shanghai 🕐11:00-04:00
