Soif

Soif, a hidden gem nestled in a former burger business in Hull, is owned by one of the world's finest sommeliers yet remains strangely beneath the radar in the Ottawa area. Véronique Rivest's natural-leaning wine selection is a winner, which comes as no surprise. Escargots and ricotta gnocchi in tomatillo soup are two examples of the menu's French and Latin American influences, but there are also allusions to Canada, such as the bison tartare. Soif is offering take-home dinners and virtual wine tastings now that the dining room is closed.
