Po Nagar Cham Towers - Nha Trang, Vietnam

Perhaps the most popular attraction in Nha Trang, after Winpearl Amusement Park and Long Son Pagoda, is the ancient Po Nagar Cham Towers, which are more than a thousand years old. Cham towers are a small green well-groomed area and functioning temples, where not only Buddhist ceremonies, but also the rites of ancient ancestors take place to this day. Po Nagar Cham Tower is one of the surviving evidence of the powerful Cham state that dominated Vietnam in the period from the 7th to the 17th centuries. The complex consists of four towers, the largest of which is dedicated to the goddess Ponagar, who taught people crafts and agriculture. The pediment of the tower is decorated with the image of the goddess, and inside there is a statue of her.
