Tearrific!
Chiang Rai won't be complete without a nice afternoon tea. I suggest going to Chiang Rai in cold season if you want to enjoy your trip without feeling the warm temperature of summer. If you enjoy tea or nature then I recommend coming up here. The trip will be worth it. The food is good. Remember that this cafe is all about tea so don't expect to see coffee on their menu. #mytripvlog #foodie #awesomepic #cafe
~ Tea time
Choui Fong Tea Plantation is located in Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province. This is a great tea plantation area of Chui Fong Tea Company Limited, which has been the largest tea producer in Chiang Rai for more than 40 years. Of course, anyone who wants to taste good quality tea must come here. Another activity that tourists like very much is going down to take beautiful photos with the tea plantation. Early morning you will be able to see the workers collecting the young tea leaves. In addition to tea plantations in the midst of mountains and the sky is blue. There is also a small cafe here. Let the tourists enjoy the cake, sit and sip tea and look at the view in a good atmosphere as well. We didn't miss out on trying some. 😊😍

Chiang Sean ~ Old City
Wat Phrathat Chedi Luang
Wat Chedi Luang, It is the oldest temple in Chiang Saen. With the pagoda standing majestically at the Chiang Saen city wall, 88 meters high and the base is 24 meters wide, the people of Chiang Saen call this ancient place. "Wat Phra That Chedi Luang"
Wat Phra That Chedi Luang was built in 1887 by King Saen Phu. Grandson of King Mengrai, The first king of the Lannathai Kingdom. Inside the temple, besides Phra Chedi Luang, there is also an old viharn and 4 different relics of the chedi, although it has decayed over time. But it has been well restored and still retains the ancient to convey the beauty and grandeur of Chiang Saen's architectural art, The surrounding area is spacious, shady and quiet, ideal for resting the mind. If you likes travel to the old city and temples, Wat Phra That Chedi Luang is a tourist attraction that you should not miss if you have a chance to visit Chiang Saen.

Chiang Saen - the heart of Golden Triangle
Chiang Saen is a small but very cozy and interesting city on the banks of the Mekong River. This is a city on the border, because on the other side of the Mekong there is already another state of Laos. Well, just 10 kilometers from Chiang Saen is the famous Golden Triangle, where a third country is added to Thailand and Laos - Myanmar. It is in this town that it is best to stop to study the Golden Triangle.

Carp cafe has hands down the most unique interior design in any cafe i have ever visited. Surrounded almost entirely by a pond to weave around tables, koi fish swim freely as you dine! You can purchase fish food to feed the koi as well!
Pro tip: Sitting at the sunken seats have the best experiences to be near the fishes!

Phu Chaisai Mountain Resort Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Want to stay at a resort hidden in the mountain?
Phu Chai Sai 🍂⛰
This is another place that I really recommend! It's like a normal resort, but in the mountain. Located in Chiang Rai, Thailand, Phu Chai Sai can be a little tricky to find. But once you get there, you'll be amazed by all the natures they can offer : shrubs, trees, vines, and flowers. Every corner in my sight is majestic. And also, every room in the resort is made out of bamboo! The only drawback, for me, is you may hear the sound of the other tourists talking or moving around outside of your room for it is not soundproof. Nonetheless, the resort is still gonna make you feel rejuvenated by its stunning composition. That is all I want to tell you about this amazing resort. ไปแอ่วหื้อม่วนม่วนเน่อ! 🇹🇭👋😊
