Royal Albert Docks, Liverpool

The Royal Albert Docks originally opened in 1846 and served the north of England with boats shipping goods to various places. Situated in Liverpool city centre, it consists of modernised bars, restaurants and museums. There is quite a lot to see and do there and admission into the area is free. Lots of the bars and restaurants have some great views of the dockyards and the river Mersey and there is information about how the dockyards have been transformed into the area that it is today. The attraction is free to enter and there is free wifi throughout. I would recommend going to visit one of the museums whilst you are there as well as visiting one of the restaurants, such as the Pump House.
