Amazing Lijiang - Baisha Village

Getting There - Baisha Village is about 8km north of Lijiang Old Town. Local bus runs frequently from the city to the village during the day. It is much quieter because it is not so commercialized (yet) and here, you can appreciate Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right in front of you and experience the Naxi people's peaceful daily life. Highlight - Wandering around the Baisha Village, you can enjoy the slow lifestyle of the Naxi People and their friendly smiling faces. I personally like Baisha way more than Lijiang Old Town as the village is much less visited by tourists and hence more local and tranquil. Here you can freely roam around the countryside and enter various courtyards to see the man-made tie-dye artwork hanging for sale or drying in the sun.
