Gulangyu - the Sea Garden Paradise

Gulangyu island is definitely a “must visit” place when you travel to Fujian Province! This island has been recognized as one of Fujian Province's most scenic places. The island is famous for its natural beauty, colonial style architecture and very interesting museums. The island's historic significance as an international port, Gulangyu is a wonderful place to escape from city traffic. There you can walk along the beach, walk in Shuzhuang Garden, climb to the Sunlight Rock, visit museum and try local food. How to get there: The Gulangyu Island is located just outside of Xiamen City.
