Climbing Mount Heng on Mid-Autumn Festival 🌕🏔️

#chinatrip Mount Heng (恒岳) stands tall, piercing the skies with its majestic peaks, a serene reminder of nature's grandeur. Beneath the silent Milky Way 🌌, the ancient paths come alive with history and legend. Our first stop was the Cloud Pavilion Rainbow Bridge, nestled in the narrow Golden Dragon Gorge (🐉). This ancient passageway was ingeniously carved into the cliffs, connecting the east and west peaks. Legend has it that the bridge was crafted by Lu Ban’s sister—how cool is that? 😮✨ The Hanging Temple (🏯), perched precariously on the cliffs, took my breath away! With its 1,500-year history and incredible architecture blending three religions, it’s a place where you can feel the wisdom of the ages. The temple’s unique construction allows it to survive the tests of time and even earthquakes! At the highest point, Tianfeng Ridge 🌄), standing at over 2,000 meters, the view was absolutely breathtaking. We reached the peak just as the cold frost ❄️ and moonlight 🌕 shimmered across the landscape, creating an otherworldly beauty. As I stood there, I couldn’t help but reflect on how short life is, like morning dew ☀️💧, as the poet Cao Cao once said.
