Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden

Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden are located at Diamond Hill in the north of Kowloon surrounded by high-rise apartments. It’s a serene and calm place to visit, such a strong contrast with the surrounding city area. The entire garden was designed in the style of the Tang dynasty. Beautiful flowers, lotus pond, plants, pavilions, bridge and buddha pagoda. It provides a tranquil retreat especially for busy working adults. I really like the ambiance here, peaceful, and relaxing. I could spend hours here just sitting, walking and admiring the fascinating stones, rocks, and wooden structures. It also featuring the Hall of Celestial Kings and Buddha Sakyamuni. There was a nice tea house and a vegetarian restaurant there. How To Get There: Take MTR to Diamond Hill station, Exit C2. Admission: Free entrance. Opening Hours: Nunnery 9am to 4.30pm daily.
