Hong Kong Cheung Chau Travel Guide: Intangible Cultural Heritage Exploration Journey

Coming to Hong Kong, apart from the bustling city, there is a tranquil world waiting for your exploration. When I first arrived, I was also attracted by the bustling cityscape of Hong Kong. 🌅 However, it was not until I set foot on the outlying islands of Hong Kong that I discovered the beauty here is just as enchanting as the bustling city. 📸 Cheung Chau is one of my favorite outlying islands in Hong Kong. 🥰 There are no skyscrapers or busy streets here, replaced by leisurely beaches and characteristic folk houses. You can stroll leisurely on the quiet paths, or rent a bicycle and ride along with the sea breeze. 🌊 Moreover, Cheung Chau Island has magnificent coastal scenery, it's simply a natural holiday paradise! 🏝 Speaking of accommodation, I chose to stay at 🏨 Lan Kwai Fong Hotel Kau U Fong, which is located in the Central and Sheung Wan business center. The rooms are on higher floors, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the magnificent cityscape of Hong Kong. At night, you can also take a walk to appreciate the night view of Victoria Harbour, a great place to forget the fatigue of the city! 🌙 Apart from beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodation, Cheung Chau Island also has a rich intangible cultural heritage of delicious food. 🍡 Special peace buns, pineapple buns, Hong Kong-style milk tea... each snack made me linger and forget to return! ☕ As for sightseeing, I recommend two routes for everyone 👍: 1⃣ Explore Hong Kong-style intangible cultural heritage, check in at outdoor attractions 🏝: Cheung Chau Market—Tung Wan Beach—Cheung Chau Kwun Yam Wan—Love Lock Wall—Cheung Chau Theatre—Enjoy seafood on Seafood Street—Stroll in Central at night to appreciate the night view of Victoria Harbour—Stay at the hotel 2⃣ Cycling and chasing the wind 🚵‍♀, experience the natural beauty of Cheung Chau 🌲. First go to the hotel to drop off luggage—Head to Central Pier and go straight to Cheung Chau—Check in intangible cultural heritage food and taste delicious snacks—Cycling leisurely chasing the wind—Return to Central at night—Stroll and enjoy the night view of Victoria Harbour In just a few days, Cheung Chau allowed me to rediscover the tranquility of my soul, and I was deeply fascinated by the scenery and food here.
