World Heritage Bulguksa Temple

#summerbreak It’s a Buddhist temple on the slopes of Tohamsan, Jinheong-Dong, Gyeongju-Si, Gyeongangbuk-do, South Korea. It was classified as Historic and Scenic site by the Korean government and was added to UNESCO World Heritage in 1995. It was a masterpiece of the golden age of Buddhist art in the Silla Kingdom. Currently it’s the head temple of Korean Buddhism. Woodblock prints were found in 1966, dated back between 704-751. They are Buddhist text printed on mulberry paper scroll.
