waking up to the sound of East Sea

Gangneung, located about 2 hours away from Seoul is a perfect getaway from the city life and unwind yourselves. It is easily served via KTX to Gangneung station directly. Having travelled to both Busan and Gangneung, I personally prefer the beach in Gangneung than Busan as it is less touristy. Travel within the city can easily be done via bus or taxi which is a plus.
