Detian Waterfall CHINA 🇨🇳

Started 2023 with an interesting trip to the Detian Waterfall in Guangxi province, on the border of Vietnam. Coming from Shenzhen, it took me a couple of hours travelling by train to Nanning, then a car from Nanning to Chongzuo. I would recommend you rent a car or hire a driver for a smooth travel experience. I spent the night in Chongzuo then woke up early and made my way to the waterfall, this was quite a drive so be prepared for that. Once you arrive, you need to get your ticket then make your way to the bus which will drive you to the scenic area. There is a lot to explore once you’re inside so be prepared to walk. The whole China side is unfortunately barricaded so I could only see the waterfall from afar. You can see the Vietnam side is fully operational. One of my favourite parts of the grounds was the hike to the top of the mountain (you can also just take the elevator belt up if you’re not up for the hike) the view from the top is phenomenal. There’s a food street which is semi operational and some restaurants which are open inside. Overall the scenic area is a great place to explore for a couple of hours.
