Swiss Bliss: A Dreamy Adventure

#wheretogo My journey through Switzerland was an unforgettable dream ✨. Every scene I encountered felt like a picture-perfect postcard 🏞️, and I still can't believe I had the opportunity to explore this picturesque country 🇨🇭. Over the course of 5 days, I immersed myself in the beauty of Wengen, Interlaken, Grindelwald, Kandersteg, Brienz, Lauterbrunnen, and Jungfraujoch. To fellow travelers, I wholeheartedly recommend getting the Berner Oberland pass, especially if you plan to travel by train 🚆. It covers these stunning areas and even provides access to thrilling cable car rides, like the one to Grindelwald First and the mesmerizing Oeschinen Lake – an experience that left me in awe 😍. For transportation wise, I combined the Berner Oberland pass with the Half Swiss Pass, which not only saved me money 💰 but also allowed me to maximize my Swiss adventure. The reason why we chose the Berner Oberland pass is because it allows us to travel freely between Bern, Interlaken, Lucerne and many of the touristic areas and it also include cable cars and rail-ways such as the cable car ride to Grindewald First and the steam train - Brienz Rothorn Railway! 🚂 My journey continued as I headed to Zermatt to spend a night, capturing the majestic Matterhorn in all its glory 🏔️. Then, I ventured to the vibrant city of Zurich 🌆 and explored the charming city of Lucerne over the next 3 days. These destinations showcase the diversity of Switzerland, from natural wonders to urban exploration 🏙️. Throughout my adventure, I changed accommodations three times, experiencing the unique charm of car-free Wengen and Zermatt, as well as the city area of Zurich. Looking back, if I have the chance to visit Switzerland again, I'd consider staying in Interlaken instead of Wengen. Its excellent train connectivity makes it an ideal hub for reaching various tourist destinations with fewer train transfers, ensuring a smoother and more efficient journey 🚞.
