Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park is another heavyweight urban ecological space opened to tourists in the south of Beijing in recent years. There are trees, shrubs, and green plants everywhere, and the lakes and water systems are intertwined. There are a variety of waterfowl and wild birds, and the overall ecological environment is excellent. The most recommended is the "Yanjing Pavilion" located in the eastern part of the park. This is a 20-meter-high viewing platform built on a 40-meter-high mound. The second floor is a corridor-style viewing platform with a coffee shop in the middle for tourists to rest; the third floor (requires a QR code to make an appointment to climb) looks like a "human" shaped roof, and tourists can sit on the steps and look at the scenery of Beijing; the first and second floors have a direct elevator; the second and third floors are connected to the stairs. There is a public reading space. In the park, you can breathe fresh air to your heart's content; there are battery cars, bicycles for rent, and steam trains; there are many lawns where you can set up tents.
