Skip the Queue | The Forbidden City Quick Entry Guide

During the summer, tickets for the Forbidden City are hard to come by, and entering the Forbidden City from the Tiananmen Tower requires lining up in long queues. Coupled with the unbearable heat, it can be quite torturous. However, there are two fast-track entrances to the Forbidden City where you can avoid the queues and go straight to the ticket checkpoint.
