"Gubei Water Town" is located in Gubeikou Town, Miyun District, Beijing, and is named for its proximity to the ancient Gubeikou and its style reminiscent of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. It was newly built in 2011. Situated at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall from the Ming Dynasty, Gubei Water Town brings to life the historical memories of a northern town through the exploration of local history and folklore. Within the scenic area of Gubei Water Town, there are 'Six Districts and Three Valleys,' which are the Old Camp District, Republic of China Street District, Water Street Style District, Wolong Fort Folk Culture District, Tanghe Ancient Fort District, Homestay & Dining District, and the valleys of Houchuan Zen Valley, Eden Valley, and Yunfeng Emerald Valley.
