Batu Caves 🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur

A must, when in Kuala Lumpur! The renovated stairs and paintwork adds so much to the Batu Caves as a tourist spot. The vibrant colours give everyone the chance to feel like they are a photographer, capturing cool contrasts and however your pictures actually turn out, you know they'll be colourful. Notes: 1. This is a religious site and you'll be expected to dress as such. As you enter the gate, youll be helped if you don't meet the requirements or they'll let you know what is expected. 2. Monkeys🐒🐒🐒🐵🙈🙉🙊 Cute, maybe... The monkeys didn't bother us here and we didn't bother them, but that wasn't the case for everyone. I wouldn't recommend taking out your snacks or water bottles in front of them, they seemed fairly confident at taking what they fancied. 3. Getting there from Kuala Lumpur. If you can take the train, it's fast clean and drops you within walking distance of the gate at the bottom of the stairs. 4. KL is hot and humid, and it's a lot of steps, it's probably worth taking shoes to exercise. the stairs you see front eh outside are only the start!!!
