The deep woods inside the garden were quiet, with lush vegetation. The air after the rain carried the fresh scent of earth and plants, which was truly refreshing. Walking past Wanjuan Tower, Gaofen Pavilion, and Zhuojin Pavilion, the well-arranged ancient buildings were built along the water. The landscape, pavilions, steles, and flowers complemented each other, possessing both the delicate grace of southern gardens and the steady grandeur of northern academies. Every step revealed a new scene, all filled with ancient charm. On a rainy day, the Lotus Pond has less worldly hustle and more poetic, Zen-like charm. There is no need to rush; just walk slowly, watch the rain and mist drift over the lotus pond, listen to the fine rain tapping on the ancient eaves, and observe the thin mist concealing the pavilions.
