Algonquin Provincial Park

#canadatrip Algonquin offers several fantastic, well-marked Interpretive Walking Trails (like the Spruce Bog Trail or the Two Rivers Trail) right off the main highway. These trails are manageable day hikes, ranging from easy loops to more strenuous climbs, and each has a booklet (or sign) explaining the unique ecology, logging history, or geology of the area. The Lookout Trail is a short but steep climb that rewards you with one of the most famous views in the park.
