We had dinner one evening at the on-site Element Bar & Kitchen, which had a lovely, warm atmosphere. The food was excellent, with a good choice of seasonal dishes that were well-cooked and flavourful. Breakfast was also very good, offering a wide and fresh buffet selection each morning. The location is ideal for local exploration. We took a short drive to Hatfield House for their Christmas market and enjoyed some quiet winter walks in the nearby Stanborough Park. The convenience of the adjacent Galleria shopping center was also a bonus for some last-minute gift browsing.
