Later in the day, we made our way to the stunning Blue Lake. The vibrant turquoise color of the water, surrounded by natural scenery, made it one of the highlights of the trip. It was a perfect spot for photos and quiet appreciation of Bintan’s natural beauty. On the second day, we explored D’Bamboo Camp, a nature-themed destination ideal for outdoor activities. We strolled around the area, enjoying the lush greenery and peaceful environment. #bintanguide Nice beautiful resort with activities that suits the elderly and young children. I have bought the stay & play package that comes with a few complimentary activities included. Sudden heavy downpour and we are not able to go for the outdoor activities (slide, bicycle, mangrove kayaking)..so we requested to allow us to claim for indoor activities instead. Initially, my request was rejected as they doesn't allow change of activities. But after a few rounds of negotiating due to the unpredictable weather, they finally approved our request for the kids to go to indoor playground, while the adults go for sheltered archery. Comfortable tents with the basic necessities. Be prepared that you can actually hear alot of sounds outside of your tents (eg. walking & talking sound, music from the bar). I don't think anything can be done for the soundproofing of the tents, maybe can provide earplugs for the guests. Staff are polite and often served with a smile 😊 Enjoyed the tent side BBQ and also the buggy service 👍🏻! We went to dine at both Compass rose restaurant at Anmon and Patio restaurant at Natra. Compass rose restaurant food was good, they have more food options (Thai, Jap, Indo, Western cuisine) compared to Patio Restaurant. And..especially the waiting time for the food to be served, decent waiting time (approx 30mins) for Compass rose.. long waiting time (approx 1hr 15mins!!!) for Patio restaurant to serve the food.. when there wasn't any crowd. A great place to chill, relax and recharge. My family and I will definitely come back to Anmon again!

#bintanguide This place is unbelievable. Heaven on earth. We had a room with a pool for a week and did not want to leave. The location is stunning, right on the beach with plenty of greenery and crystal clear sea. The staff are frankly amazing - very friendly, very welcoming and also say hello with a smile. They go the extra mile to ensure you are having the best time, and are attentive and helpful at all times around the clock. They were especially helpful when a 44 year old man had a huge screeching beetle stuck on my trainer and didn’t know how to get it off! The food is really excellent too at all three restaurants/bars. Breakfast offers options from around the world. The restaurant menus cater for all tastes and the food is always delicious. Our room with private pool was very well air conditioned with a huge shower, with everything you’d expect from a high end hotel stay. The spa is also amazing - lots of treatments available at a very reasonable price. My one tip would be to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper as the local wildlife is quite vocal around the clock. I really hope to return here one day, every second has been amazing.

The rooms have a more classic look and could benefit from some modern updates to match the otherwise world-class experience.
