Krasnoyarskie Stolby is a perfect place for hiking in spring. First you need to buy a ticket and take a table car and then your hiking route starts. The area is very beautiful, we climbed up to see the views from above, hiked till the famous huge stones and walked in the forest. Be careful not to go deep inside the wood because there are caution signs about bears 🐻 #springwander

Celebrating outside gives you energy and fill you with joy and happiness. This area is located in Krasnoyarsk and named as Krasnoyarskie stolby. It’s rather big and you can walk there for long, having breaks for picnics. You can see variety of birds and trees there but the most beautiful part is stones rising up to the sky as if the grow like trees. The stones depicted on a picture are called “Per’ya” so you need to search for that name on the map if you want to find them otherwise you may just miss them in such a vast area. #celebrateit

Torgashinsky ridge is one of the most popular tourist attraction in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. In 2021 the longest staircase in Russia was open here and now it attracts even more tourists. For many local people it became their favourite place for every week hike (you don't need to go to a gym after climbing 1683 steps!). This staircase connects two very popular tourist attractions: Torgashinsky ridge and Krasnoyarsk Pillars into a single tourist bundle. How to get: it takes only 20 min by car/taxi from the city centre (or you can get there by bus N°37). It's great to come here in the morning during weekdays (less people). It is located on the northwestern spurs of the Eastern Sayan, bordering the Central Siberian Plateau. The area of its territory is 47.2 thousand hectares. Visitors can get to the boundary of Stolby by car or city bus. The main attraction of the park is the rocks; the collective name of the rocks is Stolby, although all of the large formations, and even some smaller stones, have their own names. Inhabitants of Krasnoyarsk have been visiting Stolby for more than 150 years for sport and adventure holidays. But be aware of bears there, especially in mid July - August! We got a bit lost on our way back and walked through the path with sign "Be aware of bears!".
