visiting Masai People
Day 2: Safari
we went slightly higher to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (2500m) today to see more animals & to meet the famous #masaai tribe
although there are few negative reviews on #masaai visit as a ‘tourist trap’ (especially on the price, forced purchase, staged school tour), we feel it is still a must-visit place in itinerary. so for USD50 (per jeep), we were entertained with singing & dancing along with the famous high jump (Adamu), a tour inside their home (inkajijik) & the kindergarten, demonstration of fire making skills and the part bila when they haggle to buy those crafts n jewelleries.
quick info on Masaai

Ngorongoro Crater Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
African safari! It's not just about the Great Migration, the flamingo flocks in May are stunningly beautiful
💖Why do I strongly recommend going to Tanzania in May? Less people, more animals, and it's cheaper, but I won't mention all that! The focus is on the sea of flowers and flamingos during this season, which really touches my heart! 💖
1️⃣Lake Manyara🌊 | Flamingos & Tree-climbing Lions🦁
Home to over 400 species of birds🦜, the flamingos are the most famous here! When the flamingos turn both the lake surface and the sky pink, it's unbelievably beautiful! In addition, there are elephants, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, baboons, mongooses, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and warthogs. Another highlight that can't be seen elsewhere is the tree-climbing lions, which other lions can't do! 😲
2️⃣Ngorongoro Crater🌋 | African Big Five beneath a Blanket of Flowers🐆
In May, the flowers here bloom competitively🌼, with golden wild daisies, purple lavender, and white lilies... spreading out in large swathes, covering the entire crater like a fairyland🧚♂️. Elephants, lions, zebras, ostriches, and rhinos walk through the sea of flowers, and the Big Five become gentle🤗. Riding in a safari vehicle through it is romantically intoxicating😍!
3️⃣Serengeti🌍 | 99% of African Animals Seen in One Go🐘
Unlike Kenya's July to September, in Tanzania, the coveted river crossing scene can be witnessed in the Serengeti from May to November🤩. Also, it is one of the best areas to watch cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and elephants🐆, plus there are many rare plants, such as the baobab trees🌳.
4️⃣Zanzibar Island🏝️ | A Beach Resort Not Inferior to the Maldives🏝️
Just an hour's flight from Nairobi✈️! The island is truly serene with beautiful scenery, and the beaches and sea are on par with those in the Maldives🏝️. At the northern tip of the island, Nungwi Beach offers great snorkeling experiences🤿; to the south, you can go out to sea to watch dolphins🐬, and to the west, there is the more pristine Jambiani Beach🏖️.

Simba on Safari
Visited the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater with E & E Safaris and had a blast. Great price and great driver. William knew a lot about the park and the animals, and always made sure to get us the location we needed for great pictures.
We stayed outside the park and did a one day trip, but they offer different packages. One day was enough for the Ngorongoro, and the views were just as impressive as the animals!#Safari #ngorongoro #Tanzania #Simba

Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Wildlifes at their best, Ngorongoro
after our struggle but worth hiking experience at Kilimanjaro peak, we decided for a safari adventure at The Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is a protected 8292km area and labelled as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. we thought it was a very expansive area where Masaai people and wildlifes live harmonily.
Personally, i like Ngorongoro because we see more animals, faunas and wildlifes here. they are everywhere. we had the best guide Anthony who drove us around this area on jeep.

The Wilds of Africa
what an amazing experience! I often want to take my son to see animals, but am haunted at the thought of showing him the way we have imprisoned animals. This is an experience worthy of sharing with him. The ability to witness them all in their natural habitats, with us as honored and appreciative visitors. This is a fine example of co-existing with Mother Nature, and I am humbled and grateful to witness the majestic creatures of Africa. Thank you Motherland for your offering.

The last primitive tribe in the world experienced human life 10,000 years ago
Around Easi Lake in Tanzania, there is a tribe called Hadzabe, who still maintains the most humans 10,000 years ago. The original state of life - no fixed residence, neither raising livestock nor growing crops, completely relying on hunting and collecting wild fruits to survive, sunrise and daily income, so leisurely, isolated life, Are you envious?
About 10,000 years ago, the Hazabi tribe, originally living in the Ngorongoro crater and nearby highlands, was hostage to the tribe After expulsion, they collectively moved to the periphery of Lake Eyasi. The minerals here are rich, the climate is suitable for the natural growth of animals and plants, and the good natural conditions provide the Hazard tribe with a natural hunting and gathering ground.
Harm Tradition
Although the population is less than a thousand people, the men of Hazabi are all hunting, and they teach archery techniques when boys are 5 to 6 years old. The success rate of hunting from a small training is particularly high. If you meet a hunter with a suede, it proves that he is a brave and experienced hunter, because only the respected hunters in the tribe have the right to put the suede on the body.
They are good at hunting, of course, they are also good at making bows and arrows. Hazards bows are made in the most primitive way with both hands, and the arrows are also coated with poison extracted from plants. Improve the effect of hunting, from flying birds to buffaloes, they can't escape Hazard's bows and arrows.
The man is responsible for hunting, while the woman is responsible for collecting wild fruits. In their leisure time, they will gather together to compile beads and get them to sell on the market.
Visit experience
Hazabi people are very friendly when they see us, and we are welcome to say Hazabi, although Hazard is almost all talking and talking. Blasting sounds, but their happy mood was completely passed. The
Hazard tribe still retains the original appearance of this human evolution. Although it is in a state of serious backwardness in the hardware environment, they respect nature and conform to the spirit of nature but are deeply touched by me.
The northwestern part of Arusha is the Serengeti plateau; the southeast is the Masai grassland; the middle is the crater plateau. There are fault lakes such as Eyasi, Manyala and Natron, and volcanoes such as Meilu Mountain and Lungai Mountain. The climate in most areas is drought-prone, with an annual precipitation of 500-750 mm; mountain rainfall is abundant. The country's important coffee producing areas also produce wheat, sisal, cotton, and pyrethrum. Mining salt, trona, gemstones, magnesite. The industry is concentrated in Arusha City, which has factories such as cotton textiles, tires and meat processing. The tourism industry is developed, with many safari parks such as Serengeti, Ngudtoto, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.
Walking in the city of Arusha, I didn't want to be as dangerous as the city. Many children were very eager to say hello to us. The city at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro had a little more human touch.
