In some parks, they even used fake snow to preserve that magical atmosphere—understandable, as many visitors might have been disappointed otherwise. An earlier visit would have been even more enchanting. Although we planned to visit Tianchi Lake, it was regrettably closed due to the weather, so we explored only the North Slope.
