Zhaoxing Dong 🛖 #guizhou

"Guizhou" is a land of ethnic minority cultures and is not a province that is a destination for many Thais. Its capital is Guiyang. It is a province that is less developed than other provinces in China. We can see traditional culture, but no matter which province in China, there is a high-speed train passing through.... Today, we will take you to visit Zhaoxing Dong 🛖🛖, the largest Dong village in China. This place is large and has many photo spots. It is recommended to stay for at least half a day. It is an old traditional wooden village. You can see the drum tower, the bridge, and the Dong people's way of life. There are mountains around here and the temperature is around 20 degrees. Travel :: 1.🚝 Guangzhou South-Congjiang High-Speed Rail or if you are in Guiyang, you can take it from Guiyang. We flew to Guangzhou and took it from Guangzhou for about 4 hours. 2.🚌 Exit the station and turn right. There is a 10-yuan bus that takes 10 minutes. It will take you to buy a ticket and take you to the entrance of the village. 🔥🔥 This year, people born in the Year of the Dragon can enter the village for free!!!🔥🔥 Save 80 yuan!!! #TravelChinaByYourself #guizhou

Sanxun House is a restaurant that is located within Tang’an Dong village specialising in hotpot and can be found on the main tourist road. It has a traditional ambiance of Guizhou culture and the average meal price is 30 rmb. It is open from 11am - 12pm The restaurant can be found halfway through the main strip, before the river, and offers lots of decorative elements such as the dried chillis and the artwork. The restaurant is very big and has separate rooms so that groups of people can be accommodated easily. There is a selection of beverages available and there is also air conditioning

Zhaoxing Dong Village|Tang'an Terraces

Zhaoxing Dong Village|Tang'an Terraces

The charm between the drum towers and wooden buildings is the soul coordinate of the village. Every wooden plank and every drum tower here invites you in the most rustic way to step into the thousand-year history of the Dong ethnic group. Amid the drum tower's bell chimes and the smoke from the wooden buildings, the meaning of travel is written as a time gently resonating with ethnic culture. The most unforgettable part of this journey is the Tang'an Terraces. There is a dedicated shuttle that takes you directly to the mountaintop, about a 20-minute ride. It is recommended to go in the morning, where you will see the terraces meet a stunning sea of clouds, like morning light encountering a fairyland on earth. Whenever the breeze sweeps over the terraces, the mist wraps around the layers of greenery like a light veil. The stilted wooden houses in the distance appear faintly through the mist, as if they have stepped out of an ink painting, truly beautiful. (For those setting out early in the morning, remember to bring a jacket as it is colder on the mountain and there is more mist. You can also bring a hat or a disposable raincoat to protect against moisture and keep warm.) The sour soup fragrant roasted pork rice noodles in the Dong village are delicious and a must-try. The rice noodles are very smooth, and usually, you can only choose between sour soup and clear soup. This time, I chose the highly recommended Jinshan Homestay|Drum Tower View Room. The room environment and bedding are very clean, the bathroom is very tidy, and the room has a small balcony. If you book in advance, upon arrival, a staff member will arrange to pick you up and drop you off. The homestay has no elevator, and the room is on the 4th floor. The housekeeper will arrange to carry your luggage to the room. ⭕️ The only suggestion is to add a non-slip mat in the bathroom because the floor tiles become very slippery when wet. I almost slipped while showering and ended up placing a bath towel on the floor to prevent slipping. ⭕️ In the evening, I attended a bonfire party (not recommended, but optional). There are two types of parties: one is the official bonfire performance with a ticket price of 88 yuan, and the other is a bonfire performance built by villagers on the big stage for 68 yuan. The former is a more scaled performance, while the latter is a more authentic ethnic performance. (I chose the former and left halfway through. If you are really interested in this aspect, I would recommend choosing the more authentic latter option because the atmosphere is richer.)

Zhaoxing Dong Village | Hidden Wilds Wangshan Inn

Zhaoxing Dong Village | Hidden Wilds Wangshan Inn

There is a place in Guizhou that looks like it came out of a painting. It is so beautiful that it makes people fall in love with it. Do you know where it is? That's right, it's Zhaoxing Dong Village! If you come to Guizhou, you must not miss this paradise on earth. Zhaoxing Dong Village is built on a mountain and surrounded by layers of mountains, like a beautiful landscape painting. Here, every place is a scenery, and every frame is like a poem. And the Hidden Wilds Wangshan Inn is the finishing touch to this painting. It is located on the edge of the field in the Zhaoxing Dong Village Scenic Area. The original stilted buildings and the native horse trails make you feel like you have returned to that simple era. The view rooms of the Hidden Wilds Wangshan Inn are even more unforgettable. The design of the large floor-to-ceiling windows allows you to enjoy the distant terraced fields and streams without leaving your home. Moreover, the location of the inn is also very advantageous. It is only a 3-minute walk to the main street and a 7-minute walk to the Tang'an shuttle bus stop. You can stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and quietly enjoy the peaceful time in the room, or you can set off at any time to explore every corner of Zhaoxing Dong Village. The air here is fresh, and the scenery is picturesque, making it a particularly suitable place for vacation and leisure. You can stroll through the fields and feel the breath of nature; or you can sit in the view room of the inn, sip a cup of fragrant tea, and watch the clouds roll by. The beauty of Zhaoxing Dong Village and the Hidden Wilds Wangshan Inn cannot be fully expressed in words. You need to experience and feel it for yourself.

Zhaoxing Dong Village 3 days and 2 nights

Zhaoxing Dong Village 3 days and 2 nights

Zhaoxing Dong Village 3 days and 2 nights In the afternoon, we arrived at Congjiang High-Speed Railway Station. The weather was great. After exiting the station, we took a bus to the village for 10 yuan per person. At the entrance of the village, we were asked to get off the bus to buy tickets (tickets are free for people from Guangdong, only a 5 yuan insurance fee is required). After buying the tickets, we got back on the bus and headed into the village. Upon arrival, I called the homestay owner, who came to pick me up with a sightseeing car. I stayed at a homestay at the end of the village. The owner was very enthusiastic and gave me a ride from the village entrance, explaining the local customs and providing travel tips along the way. The view from the homestay room was of the fields, very quiet, with frogs croaking in the morning, reminding me of my childhood. In the afternoon, I took a walk around the village. Although the village is not big, the locals were very warm and simple. Cats and dogs could be seen everywhere on the streets. The next day, I booked another homestay by the creek. The view was also very nice, with the creek right outside the room. On rainy days, I could sit at the door all day, feeling very comfortable. The homestay had two cute cats. For sightseeing, I went to Tang'an. You can take a free sightseeing car from the village to the bus stop, costing 20 yuan per person for a round trip. For costume photography, I did makeup and styling for 158 yuan and then took photos myself. I asked several shops, and the service attitude of the ladies was very good. Overall, if you just want to visit and take photos, 2 days and 1 night is enough.

A Fairyland Homestay in Zhaoxing Dong Village!

A Fairyland Homestay in Zhaoxing Dong Village!

Guizhou is like a delicate ink painting, beautiful and intoxicating. My destination for this trip is Zhaoxing Dong Village, an ancient village with a thousand-year history hidden deep in the mountains. The drum towers and Dong culture here make you feel like you have traveled through time and space, and what makes me even more excited is staying in a very special homestay - Zhaoxing Dong Village Feihuayi Homestay. 🌿Poetic Living by the Lake🏡 As soon as I walked into this homestay, I was attracted by its unique design style. The name Feihuayi comes from Su Dongpo's poem "Like a flower, but not a flower", which aptly describes the classical yet modern atmosphere here. The entire building combines traditional elements of the local Dong people with Nordic minimalist interiors, giving people a refreshing feeling. Each room faces a beautiful artificial lake, and when you wake up in the morning, you can see the mist lingering on the lake, as if you are in a fairyland. 🛏️Cloud Experience for Sweet Dreams💭 Speaking of accommodation experience, Feihuayi really put in a lot of effort! The mattress is a latex double-sided mattress from the Mousse brand, which is soft and comfortable to lie on, ensuring a good night's sleep; the bedding is the same as that of the Radisson Hotel, with an excellent touch. What surprised me the most was that the bathroom was equipped with a full set of British BODY SHOP toiletries, not even missing the small details, it was simply a luxurious enjoyment! 📸Every Shot is a Blockbuster📸 Whether standing on the balcony looking at the distant mountains, or encountering a fallen leaf while walking along the lake, it can become a landscape under the lens. Especially recommended at dusk, when the afterglow of the sunset falls on the lake, the golden light and the blue water reflect each other, at that moment it seems that time has stopped. If you also like to record the beautiful moments during your journey, then this place can definitely satisfy all your imagination of beauty. 🍵Rituals in Slow Life🍵 How rare it is to find a place outside this busy city where you can completely relax! Sitting on the tatami, brewing a cup of fragrant tea, reading a few pages of a book, and hearing the melodious Dong songs in your ears, all the troubles seem to be resolved by this tranquility. Occasionally looking up at the window, you may also meet local residents practicing dance, such a simple but happy day.
