The hotel is located really close to the main station which is super convinient and also there are trams stops close by. So in terms of location it was great! just service of the staff are not too great. started off with really intimidating and rude front desk receptionist during check in. He was really rude and did not want to answer questions when we wanted to ask something and when we first arrivdd he just yelled at us to just wait even though we were just standing and waiting. The daily room cleaning staff was also just throwing our personal things around and not really helping put it back . so overall service wasnt too great and rooms were really small but convinient location

Good value in a great location. We walked from the train station. Enjoyed an excellent breakfast while watching pedestrians and cyclists making their way to work and school. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and strong. The young man who checked us in was 5 star. Definitely recommend.

I have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.

I stayed in a pod after arriving back on a late flight, instead of driving home at midnight. The pod was nice, very comfortable. The temperature was marginally too warm for me however, and you can't change the settings. That's where the positive experience ended. My phone charging port didn't work - that's fine - I can overlook that, but it's not ideal I was woken at 4.30am by people getting up and ready for the early morning flights. They were crashing and banging around with the doors and fiddling around with their luggage. Ultimately I couldn't get back to sleep because of the continued crashing and banging and ultimately only got 3.45 hrs sleep (I know this because my fitness tracker tells me so). So it was completely pointless staying - I would have got a better night's sleep at home with my 3 year old and 10 month old in the room next door. I believe the hotel's model doesn't work for the following reasons: 1) Each pod has a door with a very noisy latch. The latch doesn't have to be noisy if people are considerate, but a lot of people aren't considerate at the best of times, let alone at 4am in the morning when getting up for an early flight. It's all well and good to have lots of signs saying ”shh!” On the walls, but most people don't see it, or at least it doesn't sink in. I stayed in a capsule hotel on Japan that has roller blinds instead of doors, which are much quieter 2) people are allowed to bring their luggage into the sleeping space. This invites people to fiddle around with their luggage, which disturbs others from their sleep. Again, in the pod hotel in Japan, people must lock their luggage in lockers in the changing rooms, and are not allowed to take anything into the sleeping space - it works much better 3) the hotel has plenty of separate rooms, with a number of pods in each. Why not allocate guests to rooms by their time of arrival and departure, so that late arrivers don't disturb early departures, and vice versa? Overall, if the above 3 things are fixed, I'd probably stay again, but otherwise, definitely not

Very beautiful hotel on the lakeside, spent a pleasant three days with my family, the front desk service was very warm, the restaurant was very professional, it seemed that this restaurant was a very famous restaurant in the local area, and the price of 4 stars got a 5-star experience.

The hotel is wonderful in many aspects. The interesting thing is that it is located in Walliselen, just right next to Glatt Zentrum shopping department store. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi access throughout the property. The Internet speed is fast. With the modern electric tram, not only the bus, brings me to reach the city center of Zurich and the Main Train Station in short time. In the room, it provides a flat-screen cable TV, a desk, and a bathroom with shower. At lobby area, I noticed that guests can also enjoy the food corner. There is a vending machines there. When need anything, the 24-hour front reception always is there. Very helpful staffs. I also would like to mention the General manager, Mr. Frank Trapa. He is very friendly. I had to stay in Zurich for one night because the time of my arrival was too late to take a train home. The hotel is perfectly located (2.5 Km away from the airport) and you can easily get to it by train or bus or taxi. The room was really comfortable and clean. It had a safe, a TV, a fridge with water and a cozy bed, plus wardrobe. Breakfast was very nice, too. Staff was professional, kind and helpful.

Are you a business traveller seeking a comfortable place to stay with good service at a reasonable price? Then B&B Hotel Rumlang is hard to beat. I stay here regularly and I find the value, the quality of the rooms, facilities and services very good for the price per night. I know that when I arrive here, a comfortable bed, a clean room with simple offerings, and a good nights rest is what is waiting for me. It isn't the Hilton, but that's not what I am expecting - easy access to work, quiet nights rest in a cosy atmosphere at an affordable price, is. I must say I am very satisfied with this accommodation. There’s a free shuttle van to the hotel upon arrival (just exit Arrival Door 2 and turn left, find a digital board and see the timing of each shuttle). Check-in was smooth and front desk staff was accommodating. The room has all the basic necessities except for a fridge (which is not a problem for me). The location is not far from the airport and near (around 10 minutes leisure walk) to Rumlang Train Station to connect to Zurich HB.

Chosen this hotel as it is near to the airport and they have just resumed the airport shuttle service which is a plus point. However, when I arrive the hotel in the morning after a long 13 hours flight from Singapore, the room was not ready which is kind of understandable. After a long wait until 2pm, my room was not ready yet, and only at 3.30pm I got my room key. To my horror, the room was filthy. It was not cleaned, soiled cups everywhere and the trash bin was not cleared, and chocolate crumbs on my bed. It was disgusting. Immediately I went down to the reception to ask for another room, and instead of higher floor, I was assigned a ground floor. The front desk (I believed she is the supervisor), she was very rude. It is a shame to the Swiss Hospitality. Avoid this hotel at all cost.
