Romantic Hotels in Zhangye

The hotel is very convenient for eating and shopping. I stayed for three days in total. The room was cleaned very promptly and the hotel staff had a very good service attitude, especially the front desk manager. When I checked out, I learned that I had to catch the high-speed train. Without an appointment, he immediately arranged for a driver to help me get to the station. He was very considerate. The room facilities and equipment are very complete. The dry and wet separated shower room is very convenient. The room area is also large. The heating effect of the air conditioner in the room is also good. The temperature difference between morning and night in Lanzhou is very large. It is very warm in the room. It is a hotel worth staying in.

The second stop in Gansu, the hotel is super big. It was dark when I arrived at the hotel. I left early and returned late the next day. I didn't remember to go to the balcony until the morning of check-out. I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. The weather was also great, and the visibility was particularly good. You can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance at a glance. The environment must be full marks, the hygiene is also good, the room is very clean, and the basic facilities are all available, and there is a humidifier. I didn't understand the service. There were several staff members standing at the door. I thought they were doormen at first, but when I got on or off the bus with things in my hands, these staff members also looked at me with a smile, and no one came to help or ask if I needed help. There was even one time when the things in my hand fell to the ground, and the staff still stood by and watched me pick them up by myself. So are so many people standing at the door taking shifts to bask in the sun? I don't quite understand. The noodles in the hotel restaurant are delicious, highly recommended.

The room is large, the bed is comfortable, and the sleep quality is good. The breakfast is rich, with many options and good taste. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is large and convenient for self-driving guests. Pingshan Lake Grand Canyon is very spectacular and shocking, and it is worth a visit.

When we left our bag in the restaurant, the front desk helped us find it back, which was great! I will stay at this hotel again next time I come to Zhangye!

It takes about five minutes to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station, and it may take twelve minutes to walk. There are all gourmet restaurants downstairs. The beef noodles and spicy hot pot were very delicious. I also washed my hair at the barber shop downstairs, hahaha. In short, it is highly recommended! I will stay here next time! Hygiene: The carpet is a bit stained Environment: Very good, West Bus Station is right downstairs, and the location is quiet! The corridor has antique-like furnishings and the passage is wide. There is also a museum on the third floor of the hotel, but it’s a pity that we don’t have enough time to visit it. The beds are also unique. Facilities: The hot water for bathing comes out quickly but not hot enough! Bedside touch screens are generally problematic. For example, a ”night light” can cause an alarm at the door. There is a humidifier. Service: The front desk service is good! Great turndown service! They just didn’t remind me that there was breakfast.

This is the best traveler accommodation you can find in Zhangye. Rooms and dorms are sparkling clean, and so are the common toilets, cleaned several times daily as I observed. The showers are on the upper floors, and this could be really the only drawback if one comes when it's cold. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great - plenty of Chinese and international travelers to share evenings and meals, and they organize affordable tours to the Danxia scenic area and also Mati si and Jingta temples. We took one and were very happy with the driver and the service and made the best out of our day in Zhangye. Book without exitation!

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.
