We were somewhat surprised by the campsite-style setup, as we booked based solely on website photos without delving into the specifics. While the facilities are adequate, the layout lacks privacy. For instance, to use the cabin's toilet, all curtains on the first level must be closed. Additionally, the toilet bowl is situated behind stairs without any curtains, potentially allowing others in the cabin to see. Moreover, the second-level flooring consists of planks with numerous gaps, providing visibility to the first level, including the bathtub and toilet bowl. I strongly advise against booking this accommodation for families with children due to the safety risk posed by the sliding doors on the second level, which lack safety measures. While they offer a unique view of the mountain, the danger of potential falls is significant. If you do choose to consider it as a family cabin, I recommend checking with the staff to lock the doors from the outside for added safety. Despite the unexpected aspects mentioned above, our overall stay was still decent. The staff were hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. Communication was convenient via WeChat for check-in details, recommendations, and self-checkout. It seems that the camping style of accommodation was a selling point, it’s definitely a unique stay. I’m sure there’s a specific crowd that would fully enjoy the experience.

We took a niche route to check in at Yulong Snow Mountain. It is highly recommended. It is exciting and fun for horseback riding novices! I have been to Lijiang three times, and I like it here every time. This trip to Yunnan was a healing and warm stop. My family accidentally sprained their ankle when they were returning to Lijiang at the Shangri-La train station. By the evening, their feet were bruised and swollen, and it was difficult to walk. After the boss knew about it, he found a basin of cold water to soak our feet, and helped us find ice cubes to apply to our feet. The most important thing was that he made the ice cubes into smoothies and put them in bags for easy application to the ankles. He also gave us plasters. I was really touched. The front desk was also very enthusiastic to share nearby food guides. They also helped us carry two large suitcases to the room and helped us take them to the taxi when we left. The auntie who prepared breakfast was also very enthusiastic. I felt like visiting relatives, it was so warm and happy. Every place in this hotel is full of art, and the rooms are big. I really like it here, quiet and far-reaching... It's a pity that I only stayed for one night, because I had to catch a flight back to Shanghai the next day. Lijiang is a city suitable for you to experience slowly. I hope that when my children grow up, I can live in Lijiang. At the same time, I envy them for being able to live in such a beautiful place and run a favorite career. I will definitely come here again in the winter and take my children to see the sunrise on Jinshan Mountain... My wife and I stayed here the last few days of our vacation in Yunnan Province. It was exactly what we needed! The hotel is so beautiful at the edge of the lake with mountains in the background. We arrived on Chinese New Year’s Eve and Ezo and the other owners made us feel like family. My wife was even invited to help make jiaozi (dumplings). We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with the owners and other guests. Our room was very comfortable and had a beautiful balcony that looked out at the lake and mountains. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and ate dinner several evenings. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. We look forward to visiting again in the spring or summer!!

The hotel is on the edge of a village, the traffic is really not convenient, suitable for chartered cars or self-driving trips, from Lijiang City, you can take the Tiger Leaping Gorge route, or you can take the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area and turn over the snowy mountains. It is recommended to take the snow-capped mountain line. Although it is a little difficult to walk, the scenery is good. The most important thing is the summer peak season. The car from the direction of the Tiger Leaping Gorge Lijiang is long, but there is no need to queue up from the reverse direction of the Tiger Leaping. The viewing platform near the Tiger Leaping is very good. There is no place to eat near the hotel. We have dinner, and the mushroom chicken hot pot is very delicious. Continue to the East Ring Line to Shangri-La the next day. The overall stay experience is good, recommended to people who want to go to Shangri-La's East Line with a slow pace.
