Once again, I admire myself for actually booking such a secret hot spring and B&B that is hidden in the city and hidden in the mountains and old forests. Basically, there are only local Japanese tourists and Korean guests, and almost no Chinese guests. The spring comes from Oita Prefecture, which is known as the second among Japan's three major hot springs. You can choose from the public baths for men and women in the hotel, or you can enjoy private baths in your room, a real ♨️enjoyment

The private bath in the room is great. The room is also very big. The only drawback is that the price is a bit expensive. Of course, after the epidemic, the prices of foreign hotels have generally increased a lot. When spring comes and the flowers bloom, the surrounding environment will be more beautiful.

It's a 15-minute drive from Yufuin town, far away from the hustle and bustle. The entrance is very low-key and I almost missed it. The private bath is a good experience, but it's a pity that it doesn't include meals. The experience is not very complete. The service is very good.

The most expensive hotel I stayed in during this trip was the most worthwhile one. The hotel is so beautiful, the environment is elegant and quiet, and the service is soft-spoken. The Japanese female clerk who received us spoke Chinese very well, and her learning spirit is worthy of praise. The room is fully equipped with items and facilities, and I feel that I am well taken care of. The hotel is on a mountain, so you have to take a taxi with your luggage. If you don’t have luggage, you can walk around. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the main street. We walked up and down the mountain, using different routes. We also visited small villages and were lucky enough to see them. The jumping deer just ran into the forest too fast to take pictures.

The environment is good. I don't think the accommodation is particularly amazing. The main reason is that the price/performance ratio is not high. 3.6k a night with kids. I have never compared Kurokawa Hot Spring, I hope to try it next time The main point of showering is very strange. It's just an outdoor shower. I don't know how to take a shower.

There are not many rooms, so you have to book early if you like. If you want two meals and one night, you have to book in advance. When we went there, we didn't book meals, which was troublesome because there were no shops near the hotel. We had to have dinner before returning to the hotel. The hotel's self-service coffee bar is great, with a great view. You can sit and watch the mountains. The music is also well selected, which is a little surprise (although the coffee is just a simple drip coffee).
