The room is not bad, with children, the only downside is that the bath water is hot and cold, but it's not a big problem in hot weather. Hygiene: Very clean, the supplies smell fresh. Even the carpets in the corridors are exceptionally neat. In the morning, I met an aunt cleaning other rooms in the corridor. I saw that she even cleaned the balcony handrails carefully. Environment: Each room has a large balcony. It looks out to Helan Mountain. It has a wide view and a comfortable mood. There are no places to eat around. It is not recommended if you don't have a car. Service: The service staff are of high quality and have good attitudes. This hotel should have been established for internal activities of the Central Group. It has just been announced to the outside world. All hardware standards are very good. Details down to the room paper bags and laundry bags can be compared to five-star hotels. The breakfast tastes good, but because there may be too few people staying, there are very few categories, which is understandable, so as to avoid waste.

Even if it’s called Holiday Inn Downtown, the real downtown is about 30 mins far by car. THe room is very nice, clean and modern. We were assigned a room at the 24th floor which lets you enjoy a view. There’s free coffee machine at the reception, best service of the hotel. In the dining room where breakfast is served there’s a kids playground, very comfortable for parents in order to forget they have kids for few minutes. Breakfast is average according to my wife. I say there are the best chocolate croissants ever existed. Pay attention that they are kept hidden, I suppose the staff hopes they don’t get finished so they can have some too. I had 10 of them during the last breakfast, unfortunately I was full and couldn’t eat more of them. I have no idea why my son (2 years old) kept mentioning this hotel for days, probably he thinks it’s the best in China. I couldn’t agree more if he tried those croissants.

Great hotel ! Good location. The breakfast can be improved greatly , there’s barely any weather options. The hotel has a laundry room which was great, with both washers and dryers! The gym can be better equipped with heavier weights . The shower was fantastic with great water pressure ! The room was also spacious and clean !
