Louis Phaethon Beach

An amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment you get off coach the staff are there to greet you and take your luggage, drinks and cakes on arrival was fab! The hotel is beautiful, the staff are amazing and polite, the food was beautiful with plenty of choices for everyone! The entertainment crew was absolutely incredible with a different show/ act each night by far the best o have ever seen in a hotel! The rooms were spotless, the grounds beautiful and had an amazing time! Will deffo be returning

We’ve stayed at the hotel numerous times and it just keeps getting better! We visited the hotel over the Greek Easter weekend and had the best time, so much that we didn’t want to leave! The food, entertainment and facilities were all amazing! All the staff made us feel so welcome and it’s like a home from home. Thank you Phaethon!

Our favourite place, we came back for the 4th time. Tha food is beautiful and plentiful. The animation team well what can I say,they work so hard,they are an absolute amazing team. friendly,talented singers and dancers who put on fantastic shows for the young and old

Very good Value for money in January The food was amongst best we have had from an AI. We only ate out only once and put a stone on in our 3 week January stay. The restaurant had an almost cantina feel to it but was fine with us. We had little engagement with the two fella's in suits manning the door of the canteen. They did however seem to have more time for repeat guests as other reviewers have pointed out. [Edit] one of them asked us if we had enjoyed the meal on our last visit to the canteen. The Bar was relaxed and had entertainers frequently around past our bed time of 21:00. The odd occasion we stayed up we found it to be very good. The bar staff were very good with special shout out to Thomas who is a professional bar tender. Constantly scanning the lounge to see who’s glasses were empty and conducting the waitresses like he was conducting an orchestra. Always anticipating the customer’s requirements. Also a big shout out to the two Nepalese girls who were equally engaged with the clientele. Olympia was pleasantly engaged too with the guests, often getting ourselves and the couple who had befriended us to make fools of ourselves. It was great fun dancing though despite the dirty looks from some of the more reserved or perhaps boring guests. The entertainment team at the time of our visit were very professional, Lead by Siddy who treats her staff like family. Always reading the guests requirements and is ambassador for the Louis organisation. One of the team, ‘Ryan’ stood out from the team. He took the time out to remember the guests names and was sociable in what seemed in a quite genuine grounded way. Multi talented as were all the team. We had lots of banter with this young lad and the wife wanted us to take him home and be his Mum and Dad. The chap made ours and everybody’s holiday special. The shows in the evening were very good and almost cruise liner material, choreography and lines well rehearsed. Our room was at the very end of the hotel. Our fitbits clocked up over a thousand steps on a return walk from room to restaurant. This suited us fine. A quiet room with high floor is exactly what we asked for. I have to be brutality honest with the accommodation. The room looked like it did on the hotel’s photo’s but are slightly more tired. All the above said. We had a great 3 week holiday £1000 less than a self catering in Lanzarote only the Louis Phaethon was ALL INCLUSIVE. I must have drank the Hotel’s stock of Ouzo in my stay. I would recommend this place for older couples on a budget who like a bit of winter sun. Fuddy duddies and the hinge and brackets of the world might like it too if they were to just cheer up and remember they are on holiday.

Could not fault this hotel, over 30 of us stayed here for our wedding and every single person said how lovely it was. The slides are great for kids and adults alike, food was delicious with a great variety catering for all. Our room was spacious and had a lovely sea view room which we asked for, great attractions nearby too and great access for a bus into the harbour or a nice walk along the beach. Elfeel was a fantastic waiter and always had a good laugh with, the cleaners were great and very friendly too, Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and we will definitely be returning

Once again we returned to Phaethon and once again it was not a mistake. Bar. As always drinks aplenty from cocktails to beers. Jenny as always fronting the bar with the speed of superman. Lovely to see staff who have been there for years but also new staff who make you think they have been there for years, very impressed with all the waiting on staff but have to mention Hanni (new) who noticed exactly how I poured my drink, how many times I stirred it and after that did that for me.😆 Restaurant. As always good selection of food, even though a bit short on sardines/mackrel for salads. Staff super efficient. Missed Claudia's smiling welcome as we came into the restaurant of an evening. She has always been such an attentive greeter, who knew your name and room and always had that extra bit to welcome you for your evening meal. I am pleased to say she is still there as her smile brightens everyone's day. Just missed that extra attention on walking in of an evening. Saying that I still got a morning smile and welcome at breakfast. Entertainment. Alex is doing a great job not only managing the team but still doing the games and shows. Sea cruise shows are a bit samey and it would be nice to have more variety. Sean on a Sunday is a must. Excellent! The terrace Entertainment was good. Pools. Lifeguards friendly as well as safe. Pools were warm enough and slides open. Guests. Lots of repeaters who show what a good hotel this is. Made many new phaethon friends. Management. Always someone around if there is a problem. Room. Clean tidy with a lovely view of pool out to the sea. Tea coffee and fridge. Personally I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff especially the following,After a difficult time their support and help was so appreciated. Jenny and Tomi on the bar, Aziz, for his speedy caring response and checking on me. Alex for checking in with everytime he passed by. Claudia for caring and giving me the best hugs. And Mr P himself for taking time out of his extremely busy day, more than once to come and see me. I have loved this hotel since 2007 and this visit they have gone above and beyond customer care and I thank them all. I will be back s soon as I can.

Lovely hotel along the Pafos *****, on arrival we received a warm welcome and were given our wristbands and times and locations for food and snacks and was also offered a drink from the bar. Amazing staff especially Ahmed Amer who we saw in the Esperides restaurant and he was so polite and kind and always gave us a warm welcome, he along with all the restaurant team worked so hard and made sure the restaurant was always clean and tidy. The entire hotel is amazing from reception to management and housekeeping, the place is spotless. We had a sea view room and we loved sitting out watching the tiny birds going in and out of their little nesting boxes which were placed on the top corner of each balcony and were lovely to watch morning and night. The rooms are spotless with loads of cupboards and drawers and plenty of hangers in huge wardrobe space. The beds are extremely comfortable. Housekeeping came every day changing bedding and provided plenty of fresh towels and gave us 1-2 bottles of water every day which was a nice touch and gratefully received. There are so many sun beds around the two pools you never have issues securing them and there are a few extra sun beds on a sand/shingle section of beach opposite with palm trees providing shade and steps leading into the ocean. The gardens and outdoor space here are immaculate and the staff work so hard taking care of everything and nothing is too much trouble. Also, the choice of food here is superb and you could literally eat morning to night and the bar is excellent with even cocktails available as part of the all inclusive drinks menu. There is so much choice of food in the main restaurant and in the pool bar area. The only thing we haven’t enjoyed is the sandwiches from the pool bar as the bread was so dry, we gave it to the birds but apart from that one tiny point there is nothing else at fault. There is a beauty salon here, indoor pool if you don’t want the amazing sunshine and a night club area in the basement. You can also get pool towels from there which is really handy. There is a car hire place in the hotel with very reasonable rates and very helpful staff. There is also a shop in the hotel which sells drinks, sweets, toys, floats etc but this is expensive and one medium bottle of water is around Euro 4.50 but across the street there is another well stocked and much cheaper shop, where you can get 6 pack of big bottles water for Euro 2.80, which I would highly recommended, the lady there is lovely and so helpful. There is also a pharmacy and a big reasonably priced supermarket about 15 minutes away and here you can get English news papers . Also there are so many beautiful and friendly cats at this hotel, you can’t help but fall in love with them, I took to buying treats so when we went for our after dinner stroll along the sea front we fed all the cats along the way and boy there were so many all so cute, wish I could have taken them all home. We even had them sitting with us on the sun

We had a very pleasant stay here. The resort excels in various places where you can relax on your beach bed. The food was varied and delicious. Waiter Ahmed Amer deserves extra praise, who gave us the feeling of eating in a small-scale luxury restaurant with personal attention.

Our first visit to this glorious hotel and from the moment we arrived at 22:30 local time (our flight was delayed) we were greeted with open arms. The hotel kept the restaurant open, which signified the start of a remarkable 7 days. Firstly, the food. All fresh, with an abundance of choice, throughout the entire day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, late snacks, whenever you felt peckish, we weren't disappointed, the lunchtime chinese was a real hit! Drinks, a plethora of choices for both alcoholic and non alcoholic (kids loved the mocktails!). Entertainment, at the poolside, starts at 10am and continues throughout the day, quizzes, water polo, races, darts etc, all great fun. During the evening, the entertainment crew hosted a variety of shows, which was led superbly by Alex and his team. The Sunday terrace show featuring vocalist Sean was really special. Regarding the pool, you have 3 to choose from, one has music playing throughout the day, the second for little children and finally the third where the brilliant slides are, couldn't get enough of these! Rooms were clean, tidy, towels replaced and beds made daily, even bottled water was replenished! In fact, the entire hotel was pristine, which is extremely impressive for over 400 rooms to cater for. But finally, the staff. I have worked in customer service for over 30 years and can honestly say I haven't received such outstanding service as we did with the Loui Phaethon Beach. Each and every member was fun, polite, helpful and attentive. However, I must highlight one specific member, Ahmed Amer. Immediately upon our arrival to the restaurant, Ahmed took time to seat us and ensured we were happy. Our breakfast, lunch, and dinner experience were enhanced even more by Ahmed, what a fantastic credit to the company Ahmed really is. To summarise, if I could award more than 5 stars I would, we had a tremendous time and would love to return one day.
