Arora Hotel

Firstly a family four we were put into room 413 which was double room they put q cMp beds in it making it impossible to manoeuvre around bearing in mind we were there for q4 days after 2 days we asked for bigger room , had to pay extra 415 pounds. The entertainment was for Turkish ppl when asked to play a uk song at night , the entertainer played YMCA once. I lost my ear bud and moved bed and was horrified it was filthy clearly hadn't seen a hoover or sweeping brush this season , defo not 4 star hotel , food is repetitive flies everywhere and no food description beside food tray to know what your eating ! Music by pool is tht loud you cannot hear what person next to you says . On the last night my partner had his watch stolen, while playing table tennis ,he called Police who came out but could not view cctv as manager was not there , she came in next day 10.30am and our taxi transfer airport arrived at 11am, partner asked for police to be called again she said if your staying I will need money for room ! Not interested in sorting issue , I have contacted hotel since being home and they have ignored and failed to respond, I then got a friend who lives there to go see them , absolutely no interest ... Defo worst hotel and management ever . One positive was most bar staff couldn't do more for you were good with kids , overworked and very underpaid . I'm always. Person tht don't really pay attention to reviews and think ppl.are being picky but most definitely not ... only AL holiday I went on and came home 3 kg lighter , my son is vegetarian the options were terrible and with no idea what was in food as no labels he ate chips and croquettes for 2 weeks. 2 days before we left 2 coaches of 18 yrs old arrived they ran a mock over hotel banging ur doors all hours of night wakening kids ... DONT DO IT WASTE OF MONEY 1600 GBP for 14 days AWFUL Picture below shows they read my mail but did not respond !

Was very disappointed by the whole experience of staying at the Arora hotel the room was OK the food was disgusting when asked for butter was told very rudely that there was none the alcohol was very limited to watered down vodka and gin no cocktails also no efes the turkish lager and staff constantly asking for tips the pool was in need of repair as the handrail was falling off very dangerous the private beach was an afterthought sun loungers broken put together like sardines and the beach very very dirty they offer free services but when you ask about them we were told very rudely that there was no service went to relax and enjoy ourselves but ended up having to eat out most days which took up most of our money having to get a taxi as it is a good bit away from the centre of town will never go back it was a horrible experience and couldn't wait to get back home....it says 4 stars but it shouldn't be even 1 star it caters mostly for the Turkish people

Was asked for 150 late check out bit of an argument at reception over that room could have been cleaner shower ful of hair and blocked all in all it is not 4 star but pool makes up for it good craic u will make friends there

We travelled as a family of 6, 2 rooms. Hotel very dated, rooms not very clean. Pillows almost black under covers. Food very much geared up for the Turkish, (so much oil), no English alternatives. We ended up eating out a lot even though all we paid for all inclusive. Evening entertainment very repetitive. Pool was good, lots of steps to get to the beach which was ok but not the cleanest. Our transfer was not till 7pm and was told me could not use the all inclusive facilities after 11am so no food or drinks in the hotel. Definitely left a nasty taste and won’t be returning to Turkey again.

Our family enjoyed the stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Nice to hear Turkish music not the constant English drivel on the radio. We could embrace some other culture. We enjoyed the private beach. Food bit boring.

Food was awful had a bad stomach for final week . Didn't cater for English played constant foreign music .Drinks pretty basic selection. Couldn't wait to get home . Don't know how it got 4 star alot of maintenance work needs doing in the hotel .

I would not recommend staying in this hotel especially if you’re British. The health and safety was poor. The food was revolting. The food was not labelled and staff could not tell us what they were serving. Flies all over the open salad, deserts and bread. A lot of processed food was served. The “juice” was like nat’s piss. The wine was disgusting. Plastic cups were cheap too. The swimming pools were filthy. The bedrooms were dated. The air con was loud, the bed sheets were stained urine and very worn with holes. Pillows were like bricks. Cracks in the bath tub. 4 hangers in our wardrobe. No other storage for clothes such as chest of drawers. Tv had no British or translation channels. The carpet in the communal hall ways were frayed and dirty brown. Slippery tiles throughout the hotel causing accidents. Fire exit stair well was blocked with fold up beds, mattresses and travel cots. Fire alarms hanging off the walls. The elevators were either broken or slow. The hotel beach was filthy. Entertainment staff were unfriendly, and one even told us they do not cater for the British. As a British family we felt very isolated and excluded.

Well having read hundreds of reviews on this place, largely all negative we weren't expecting alot from this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised from the minute we arrived. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, from the guys at reception to the waiting staff, they were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 420 and thew view, wow, breathtaking, I've never seen another view like it, stunning. The hotel is very clean, they are cleaning at all hours, our beds were changed maybe 4 times in the 2 weeks we were there. The WiFi and air conditioning were both great. Couldn't fault either. The hotel is a 20 minute drive to centrum, but theres a lovely little restaurant a 5 minute walk, Mistur Cafe and Restaurant, great little find. There's a great shopping bizarre close to the resort, I'm glad we didn't find that until our last 3 days though, my bank balance is already moaning at me. We loved our holiday and would return in a heartbeat, Thanks for a great 2 weeks.

Me and my partner had a great weeks stay here, the staff was amazing and really helpful, they couldn’t do enough for you. It was a cheap holiday and it was worth every penny, the food was ok 👍 not always to our taste put what we paid for that’s what we got!! The beach was lovely that’s where we spent most our days at the hotel and could always get a sun bed, the pools was really clean too. The scenery from our balcony had stunning views of the sea and mountains, we use to love sitting on the balcony just chilling. Our room was basic but was clean, the towels and bed sheets changed daily, fridge in room. ( take a kettle if you like a brew in the morning!) You wasn’t in the heart of the town you could always get a cheap taxi from the hotel, they were great in reception and would book the taxi for you. There was a supermarket 5 min walk away and lovely restaurant that did a lovely brew and English breakfast! Overall we had a great holiday and ok the food wasn’t really to our taste but given the price we paid ! It is what it is! we really enjoyed our holiday here and would like to thank the staff for making our stay here a really chilled enjoyable holiday.😃 Definitely go for there Turkish bath at the hotel it was excellent and so relaxing. We would definitely come back to this hotel, we had a great time and was really gutted on coming home! Xx
