Stayed in Zen VIP room on the 6th floor. It was exactly how it was described and we loved it! None of the receptionists speaks English but one of them in particular is extremely kind and helpful. Use your translation app to converse and communicate unless one of your people speaks Chinese. We are American/Japanese mixed family and our daughter assisted us as a translator (she takes Chinese at school). For Guilin and Yangshuo, it’s not easy without Chinese. I highly recommend staying at a hotel with English speaking receptionists unless you or someone in your group speaks Chinese to maximize the stay (or hire a guide). The breakfast is only 15 RMB and it’s super simple Chinese food. If you want western style, you must stay at a different hotel. They have rental bikes but they run out fast Overall, this hotel was amazing for us. The room, location, kind receptionist and room cleaning lady. The pictures are taken from our room. Highly recommend this for the right people. .

This place is clean, modern, very well located, and with an amazing customer service. A lady from the reception helped me getting a cab to the bus station, and even paid for it, to my surprise, without allowing me to pay back (I was on a rush and the app used in China was not working). I cannot be more grateful. Thank you, an do not hesitate about booking in this place when visiting Yangshuo.

The location of the hotel is very good. The staff are very helpful. One of the staff even help me booking a Didi ride. The hotel is also very reasonably priced.

Great place, great location, had a bit of smell when we arrived but was quickly solved by the hotel staff! Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel can easily confuse you if you don't look at the address. The names of the hotel 西街里，九号，(in English No. 9 West Street inside). First thing is confuse you that the Hotel is located at West Street inside. Instead, the hotel is at the main road, before entering the West Street, it is somewhere near the opposite side of the overhead bridge .

Stayed over new year, very very quiet in the town. No problems. Owner helped me to do some laundry and gave directions when needed.

Very welcoming, good service, you can drink tea and chat in the hotel lobby, the room size is right, very suitable for a family, convenient for shopping, 100 meters walk to West Street, you can rent a small electric donkey, book tickets, and order food! The service is great! I recommend it
