Hotels near Shasui Falls in Yamakita

Short walk to Gotemba outlet. We booked private onsen through the help of a friend as booking could only be done in Japanese when calling in prior to our trip. Room is considerably small and we didn't managed to see Mt fuji as it had been raining the whole day. Lucky enough, we chanced upon 10 mins fireworks specially for the outlet staff that night. Dinner in the restaurant was reasonably priced. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

The Japanese rooms are almost to small to house two people with luggage, mattresses very thin, no Aircon available (only air clean). Room was run-down, the entire hotel is in dire need for make-over. It surely has seen better days. Therefore, it is overpriced. On the plus side: Food was good and so was the Onsen. But one would find similar Onsen standards nearby, in fact, next door. The nicely sized swimming pool closes at 5pm, can’t tell it’s quality. Massage service available, good service.

If you are visiting Japan for more than a few days you must have a Ryokan on your bucket list – here we were greeted with a traditional tes reception and departed with memorable gifts – our room was full on Japanese down to the futons and the miniature table and chairs – there was an open veranda with a private onsen (built for two hot spring pool) – great for early morning wakeup and relaxation before sleeping – the food was divine – the table spread with many dishes of delicious offerings – I can’t say enough here – the Ryokan was established 140 years ago and served travellers on the dusty road to Tokyo – there are still some of the original rooms preserved – a large public onsen (study the etiquette before taking a dip) and a sizable garden to wander around and work off the breakfast – we were there for four nights in an area full of places to go and see and I regret we did not use some of the time to just relax and enjoy the experience – as you can see we loved this place – if there was a six I would gladly give it.

I stayed at a low price, but the hot springs, food and rooms are mediocre. I chose 2 in the sense that it is not balanced with the price. Room It seems that it has been renovated recently, and at first glance it was a beautiful Japanese-Western style room. It's spacious and feels pretty good. However, the partition walls with pillars and former 々 remained before the renovation and made me feel a considerable age. The scenery was good, but there is another hotel at a close distance, so there is no sense of departure. Other It was good to have a footbath. You have to walk outside to the hot springs of the day trip facility and it is far away. It's also like that the number of lockers that can be used at late night decreases (the keys are withdrawn) (it feels like the price is reasonable). The correspondence of the employees was good.

The boss and the proprietress are kind and welcoming, the space environment is spacious, although the house is relatively old, but the feeling of the boss and the proprietress is very clean and tidy; the breakfast dishes are slightly different every day for three days and will not be tired.

The hotel is located on the edge of Yamanaka Lake, with a quiet and elegant environment. It takes about ten minutes to walk along the lakeside trail at the entrance to Asahiki Station. There are buses from JR Fuji Station or Lake Kawaguchi. The boss can pick you up at the station for free. Or you can pay a small fee and go directly from Lake Kawaguchi, Oshino Hakkai, Gotemba Outlet and other places. The boss can arrange pick-up and drop-off. The transportation is quite convenient. After checking out, I forgot to bring my camera and arranged for someone to bring it to us. She is really kind and kind-hearted. For tourists who are not fluent in English and Japanese, it is more convenient to stay at his home, and any problems can be solved more quickly and properly. Mount Fuji is beautiful. This is a winter trip. I want to see the maple leaves in the future🍁. I would also like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Hotel Indigo was recommended to us by a co-worker. She raved about how much she enjoy her stay, so we decided to visit for our Anniversary. We loved everything about this hotel from check in to check out, everything was amazing. The hotel staff always made us feel welcome, by greeting us (by name most of the time) whenever we were out and about in the hotel. Hannah checked us in. She was nice and provided us with information about the area. We had the breakfast included in our stay. The restaurant manager Koji-san was awesome. While not a picky eater, I do like my eggs cooked a certain way...lol.. On the first day of breakfast, my eggs were not cooked to my liking. When my plate was taken, Koji-san noticed that I did not eat my eggs. He immediately came to our table and inquired about the eggs. I told him that they were too soft for me. He apologized and asked if I had enough to eat and said that he would like to try again the next morning. I thought this was such a kind gesture. For the next 4 days, my eggs were cooked exactly how I like them. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It is a bit pricey, but the chef is very good. The salmon and asparagus were my favorites. Our anniversary was on the 22nd and we received a call from the front desk asking if they could bring us a gift for our anniversary. They brought us an assortment of sweet treats, which we enjoyed with a cup of tea. Very sweet. Our room was spacious, clean with the perfect temperature. The television was the largest that I have seen a Japanese hotel. Our room was on the riverside with a private outdoor onsen. While relaxing in the onsen, you can hear the calming sounds of the river. There is also a foot soak in the garden area. it was a bit to cold outside for me, so I didn't get to enjoy it on this stay. The hotel was cleaned thoroughly and safety precautions were taken. All of staff wore masks and for breakfast, we were provided with gloves to get continental items from the buffet. All tables were wiped down immediately after a party left and were socially distanced. The hotel is in close proximity to just about everything. During our 5 day stay, we visited The Open Air Museum, the Venetian Glass Garden, Gora Park, and The Red Gate of Peace. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next stay in the Spring.

Marriott staff welcomed us at the curb side. Check in was painless and soon we were off to our room. In room hot springs was a pleasant touch. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Even the Japanese pillows were soft and cozy. The food was top notch and catered to every taste. We opted for the dinner package—well worth the money. After dinner we rang for a late night massage…should have rethought that one. Asked for two therapist and got one. She had no clue what a massage was! Seriously!!! She literally poked at me with her finger tips. The pushed my head agains the pillow for ten minutes. Finally was had enough and she was dismissed with her full pay. Noted, she was not affiliated with the hotel, she was merely the lady they called. Please never call her again! Loved the hotel and the view. A must for anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Impressed by the infinity pool design of outdoor onsen on 6/F. Can watch sunrise with stunning view. Need to confirm if can go in for the morning during your stay as they switch gender for every day. It’s not a problem if you are staying for two nights. Food is nice and breakfast buffet has wide variety of dishes. Free shuttle bus is available to Garo station every 30mins.

Always welcome and breakfast is delicious, the room is clean and clean, and it is a twin room that can spend relaxing. The pajamas are nice and easy to wear in blue gray clothes, and the large bath of artificial hot springs is clean itself, and the garden over the glass is healing fatigue! dinner is delicious, so you can cheer your tired body! There is a coin laundry, so you can wash it while entering the hot springs. If you put it in the dryer, you can return to the room and finish the drying if you have non billiard TV time. There is Lawson nearby and it is 24 hours empty. Next to it is the workman shop open from 7 a.m. In front of the hotel, the supermarket Berg is open until 24 o'clock on the other side of the COCO restaurant. It is very convenient! It is our parent and child's regular inn when going to Isehara! I'm glad that parking is free!
