Gulangyu Baiwenxiong Hotel (Sanqiutian Wharf)

The hotel is one of the better ones on the island, but the hardware facilities are still unsatisfactory. I wanted to experience the uniqueness of the wooden house and have a yard to play and sit, but the reality is indeed bleak. First of all, there was an unpleasant damp smell as soon as I entered the door. I used aromatherapy and put laundry detergent in the room, but it didn't help. Secondly, there were too many mosquitoes, and there were dead mosquitoes in the corners and on the tables, which made people feel very uncomfortable; thirdly, the decoration of the wooden house was too simple. The floor should be covered with floor stickers, the air conditioner dripped (later repaired), and even the bathroom was covered with wallpaper. The toilet was not strong enough, and the whole bathroom was full of water when I took a shower. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night, otherwise it would be unbearable. But having said that, the service is still good.

During the trip to Xiamen, thinking that we didn't have to drag our luggage around on Gulangyu Island, we chose this family hotel near Sanqiutan Wharf. After placing the order, the hotel called to remind us to buy the boat tickets to the island in advance, which was very thoughtful. The hotel butler added my WeChat and sent me an electronic map of Gulangyu Island. The hotel has a bear theme and the room layout is very warm. The family rooms are well equipped with children's equipment. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but it was cold when we went there and it was not open yet. There is also a small beach not far from the hotel, and they also gave us children's sand digging tools. It is really a one-stop service.

The facilities of the homestay are definitely not as good as those of a four- or five-star hotel, but the service is very thoughtful and almost responsive. It is very close to Sanqiutian Pier and the location is very good. Just a few steps out of the door is the trail around the island, and there is a small beach 3 minutes away from the hotel. The night view of Xiamen is very beautiful at night It rained this time when I came to Gulangyu Island and I didn’t have enough fun. I will come again in the future.

Very close to the pier, all flat roads, very good for the elderly and children, good environment, the front desk guy has a good service attitude, very clean, the most regrettable thing is that it was the rainy season, many attractions were not visited

The hotel is in an excellent location, less than 200 meters away from the Sanqiutian Pier. The hotel is quiet, the environment is beautiful, and the kittens are very cute. The accommodation facilities are of high quality and not cheap, the breakfast tastes OK, and the overall cost performance is very high. Recommended!
