Nice place with very nice breakfast. The advertised pool and Whirlpool was a critical reason to book there only to find out that the pool area was closed for maintenance and had been for over a week.

Upon arrival, we were told our room was not ready. We were about an early. So we went out for dinner. When we opened the door to our room, we discovered it had not yet been cleaned. So back downstairs we went. We were assigned to a different room. However, the new room did not have queen beds. The mattresses seemed to be full sized only. And the side I slept on was sloped downward. So I had to fight to stay on the bed all night. The bathtub was also uneven, making you feel off balance. The hotel is older. But very clean and cozy. And the lady at the desk was super friendly and nice.

When we checked in the room hadn't been cleaned. One of the beds was unmade and there were dirty towels on the bathroom floor. When we told the desk clerk she was indifferent at best, and said she couldn't give us another room because they were booked up. Didn't offer to send anyone up to remediate the situation.

Reserved an accessible room, instead received a regular room on the third floor. One of the two elevators were broken and the other locked out by guests. So had to carry everything down three flights of stairs.

We stay at Hampton Inn because the beds are comfortable. This time there were a few problems: microwave didn’t work, hairdryer was shot, no water pressure in the sink and worse of all the fire alarm went off at 6:45 am. We had driven 12 hours before we checked in, you can imagine how aggravated we were with the fire alarm.

Nice place for the price, needs updating, but we would stay again. Skip breakfast, unless you eat yogurt and fruit, rest was "Not Good"!!

The lady at the front desk had the sniffles, was touching her nose and face. She appeared Sick and put us all in harms way. Poor infection control practices.
