I had booked the hotel not noticing that it was in Wilmington. I tried to cancel and they wouldn't. I then tried to get orbitz to cancel and they couldn't. I'll never use the site again

Staff was great! Pet friendly. Good restaurants nearby.
Negatives-stain or spot on bedspread. Ant hills should be professionally taken care of and they were not.

While checking in with a group that reserved 6 rooms, my corporate credit card worked fine for the first 2 rooms and then got rejected. The guy at the desk said it was probably their card reader being glitchy - this wasn't the first time. That can add some stress to checking in a large group and I think it would be worth a little time and effort getting that fixed

Room was surprisingly good! Staff was very nice and welcoming.
Bed was hard. Pillows were flat. But room was very clean! Some wierdos hanging around just off property, but otherwise the stay was better than expected.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They really care about their guests. But it is still a motel subject to the typical issues of a 2 star rated place. It was relatively clean and updated, I have no complaints regarding the property itself. It’s the people staying there who create problems. But the staff are very gracious and responded readily and decisively to my concerns.

Bathroom was so dirty that I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it up. They try to charge me an extra $100 after I had paid online for full coverage and insurance coverage. I guess his the manager that had to tell her in they language not to change me an extra $100. I’m still very upset about it.
