The hotel was nicely appointed. The lobby sitting area was very inviting. I metv4 different staff members throughout my stay and they were all pleasant and willing to help in any way possible to make my stay a great experience.

This was such a nice change finding a hotel that isn’t gauging its customers and employees who are actually working and doing their job I thought I stepped back in time on a good way Highly recommend

What a wonderful surprise to find this property just west of Lake Charles! If I found anything to "complain" about, I would just be nit-picking. The room they originally put me in had clearly been defiled by a smoker, so when I returned to the desk with that news, they were most apologetic and placed me in a different room immediately. It was a great place to stay and will book here again my next time through.

I arrived to find my room unmade- no sheets on the bed or towels, etc. I went to the front desk and was told there were no other rooms, and no staff available to make up the room, and that I was already checked in so couldn’t be refunded. I asked for sheets and made up the room myself. The front desk was friendly and apologetic but ultimately that shouldn’t have happened. I asked for some sort of compensation and received nothing. The breakfast was lacking- well within the time window maybe one third of the options were remaining. The hotel itself is well updated and the staff was friendly, but overall the hotel needs to invest in better procedures for room and service management.

Very nice hotel. Second time staying there. The second time, I was a bit disappointed because the restroom in our room wasn't clean. We found long hairs in the shower and the toilet wasn't wiped down/clean. The carpet could also use a good shampoo. However the front desk clerk was superb! Would I stay there again, yes.

There were multiple parties waiting for over 10 min for anyone to appear to check in. The room smelled of mould, of which i found some in the shower head that flaked off onto me when i tried to shower. We could hear wayer dripping in the walls. We were given a handicap room so there was no towel bar (had to put towels on the floor. The ac was either on or blowing humid air. King bed with 4 pillows that didnt even go half way across. Was it worth the $90 we paid for one night? Yes. Was it worth the $300 list rate, absolutely not.

The property is not in a terrible but not great. The hotel is nice, clean and we did feel safe. Well lit parking and they. Called me to confirm my late arrival. Very satisfied. Decent place to come with family. Will stay again. Food is typical.
