This hotel has a good location, and the service throughout the hotel feels a bit like a state-owned unit. The front desk had a poker face and no manners. Called to ask what time breakfast ends and the answer was that there is no free breakfast, you have to pay. I said my order included breakfast, and I was asking you what time it would end. The other person said oh yes, your order includes breakfast, so rude. I complained directly to the front desk manager. The room facilities are very old. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is very convenient to walk to the Capitol and Union Station, and the room is not small. The buffet breakfast is also good, the variety is okay, American breakfast, 27 for adults and 13 for children. The hotel also sent a hot water bottle.

Very clean! The location is great, the Congress and the station are only a 5-minute walk away.

Breakfast is charged separately, no one is 26 dollars, American breakfast, the quality is average. The overall level is worse than the express hotel on the side of the highway. The corridors of the hotel were noisy in the middle of the night.

The lobby and bar/restaurant area were great. The rooms are small and outdated. The bed frame had rips around and the carpet in the room was faded. The pool was crowded and there were no towels available.

Room air and heating system is terrible load and not functional well, shower is not working properly. The water is not running well and the temperature is hard to get control. During the night we could not sleep due to the room condition

Hotel room had a weird smell to it when I first walked in. There was dust on every light fixture in the room. There was a little hair in our sink. Amenities are nice, but the rooms need more attention with cleanliness and they need to be updated in general.

My daughter and I traveled to Washington for the first time. The location of the Hyatt Regency was perfect for easily walking to the main attractions of the city. We opted to include the buffet breakfast with our booking which was great. There was a wide selection of offerings and the service was efficient and friendly. Our room itself was comfortable and clean. The staff at the check-in desk were friendly and helpful. All the employees that we encountered at the hotel were polite and friendly. We definitely felt welcomed and valued. A huge shout out goes to June at the Concierge Desk who was absolutely FABULOUS!! As this was our first time visiting the city we were feeling a little overwhelmed with all there is to see and do. June was tremendously helpful at directing us and giving us the "inside scoop" on where to go and when. She also offered great suggestions for restaurants. Her friendly, caring and helpful manner really made us feel valued and confident to be able to navigate the city on our own. We loved seeing her smiling face each day! One small detail that can't go unsaid is the fact that there is a fire station across the street. It honestly wasn't a big deal but we were woken up twice during our stay by the sirens. All in all we had a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel for all travels and especially families.

Rooms were extremely dusty. From the carpet to the furniture everything had a thick layer of visible dust. The mattresses were unbelievably lumpy and saggy and without any padding. The bathroom was cramped and strangely laid out.
