We spent 1 week in this lovely hotel and our experience was really positive. It’s located about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. We ordered an Uber and the cost was under £10. The hotel is not quite in the centre of Warsaw but everything is close by and the public transport links were excellent. A real revelation was that most of the taxi rides with Free Now were under £3. Great value, especially if you are feeling lazy! Electric scooters are also available outside of the hotel and £1.80 for the day gets you unlimited free unlocks and 60 mins of free riding with Tier. Bolt, Lime and Dott also have scooters with similar offers. Warsaw has many bicycle lanes making cycling and scootering relatively safe. As others have noted, our hotel room was small. However, it comfortably accommodated 2 adults and a 14 year old. The bed in our room was king sized and our 14 year old slept on the sofa bed, which she said was very comfy. Housekeeping is every three days as standard but can be daily on request. All the staff on reception were lovely and friendly. Things like toothbrushes, sewing kits, sanitary products etc are available free of charge on request. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the room. Our room had multiple power points and a few USB charging points. This meant that we didn’t really need to have a European adapter with us. The hotel is dog friendly and dogs can stay in your hotel room for a supplement of 100zl per night. Light sleepers beware! The hotel rooms don’t seem to be sound proofed so you will hear trams, emergency sirens etc from about 5am onwards. This didn’t bother us at all. More of an observation really. Breakfast is included in the room rate and we really enjoyed it. The offering is the same daily but there is a lot of variety. Lots of cold meats and cheese, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes, pastries, breads, cereal, fruit, yoghurts etc. Juices, water and coffees are also readily available. Vegans have a section all for themselves and this includes tofu scrambled eggs. This hotel shares the same building as The Crowne Plaza hotel and you can access the restaurants for the Crowne Plaza. We went to Nova Wola on the first floor. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the environment very classy but it was definitely pricey. There is a bar with terrace on the 21st floor. It gets busy, especially if you want a terrace table, so book in advance.

I spent one night with my daughter in a double room in Campanile Varsovie in February 2022. On booking I had asked for a quiet room and that's exactly what we got :). It was very important as my daughter was to have an exam the following day and she really needed a good night rest. The bedroom and bathroom were pleasant and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. Also, the hotel is just one stop away from the railway Warszawa Central - the main station in Warsaw, with which it is connected by an inner-city railway, on which the ride to the Ochota stop (next to the hotel) takes just two minutes. The hotel is situated in the city centre - close to all the main attractions. On the morning of the checkout we were greeted with complementary doughnuts, as it was the popular doughnut holiday in Poland (”Tłusty czwartek”). A small gesture but a nice one!

A M A Z I N G hotel !!!! Very clean, very beautiful. The entire staff of the hotel really helped us with everything we needed. One of the tastiest breakfasts I've had (and I travel a lot). I want to point out that the employee named Daniel really helped me and he is a champion! I recommend everyone who comes to Warsaw to stay at this hotel.

Overall was great! Although we requested a room change because they did some drilling work on the floor that we are staying and early in the morning you cannot rest because of the noise. We went down to the reception and requested to be transferred to a mire quiet room.

The hotel is in one of the most convenient places in downtown Warsaw. At the center but at a very quiet place. It is based on communist architecture but though it keeps this character in the lobby, as it has to do, for keeping the historical memory alive it is modern and with all comforts. The room was very clean and with excellent wi-fi. There is always a bottle of water, coffee, and tea. And warm water all day. I would like to mention in particular the kindness of the personnel, especially at the reception. They were great. Though all of them were very helpful I would like to mention in particular Mrs. Antonina. She makes the guests feel comfortable and solves any problem without making it seem serious. I would like also to congratulate the gentleman who was responsible to care for the suitcases. He does his work perfectly. Great price for value. Fully recommended!

Of the three hotels I stayed at during my 9 day stay in Poland, this was the best by far. The room was sizable with daily cleaning service and water. It even had a mini fridge to cool items. Spacious with decent furniture for relaxing, the air conditioning worked along with all basic facilities, including hot water for showering and shaving. The breakfast is outstanding with a wide range of choices, all well prepared. And even the coffee is decent. Service is very good. They give excellent advice for tourists. The only downside to the hotel I found was that they offer no laundry service. But this is a great hotel at a reasonable rate.

My first impression of this hotel was very good, beautiful building, modern decor, stunning foyer and easy check in. The bedroom was huge, large double bed (room was big so think they could’ve made use of space and put larger bed in) large separate bathroom with heated floor and non steam mirror, it was a standard room so no view to speak of and no bath but wasn’t expecting that for a standard room. Mr H wasn’t joining me until second day and I slept well first night and bed seemed comfortable. But it was second and third night we had the issues, be warned Friday and Saturday night there are numerous clubs next door to the hotel and they party until 5am. Mr H and I on the Saturday night especially were awake for 3 hours while the shouting and screaming and smashing bottles went on outside. It did not make for a restful sleep, we also found with 2 of us in the bed it seemed to dip meaning we were rolling into each other all night!! We didn’t complain on check out as we could hear others complaining, plus we were leaving on the Sunday and knew we wouldn’t be back because of those very issues so didn’t see the point in complaining. We had breakfast and must say for Warsaw it’s very expensive around £20 each however it is excellent quality and variety. Served a La carte but you can pretty much have what you want and as much of it as you want. The smoked salmon bagel was particularly good and they serve sparkling wine and juices freely. Mr H had an omelette and pancakes and there was no problem with ordering extra dishes. Such a shame about the noise as this hotel could be a five star review.

I stayed recently at the hotel for the timeframe of mid-march 2022, and enjoyed the food (loved the artichoke pasta dishes and the turkey club sandwich with bacon), and the hospitality. For us English speaking folks, it was very easy to communicate with the staff, both at the front desk, and with the bar / wait staff. The staff was respectful, and were willing to help you with any reasonable request. From assisting me with booking train tickets on my laptop for local trips, to scheduling COVID testing for my flight home. The staff was very friendly and considering the present environment was very generous with their time. I would go back in a heartbeat, as it is close to a local grocery store, their rooms have a large safe, easy to accommodate a laptop, and a small refrigerator. The rooms are relatively sound proof, so if you are mostly active at night vs. the day sleeping during daylight hours this is not an issue. If you do go to the local grocery store, just a reminder, you need to bring your own bags, and you have bag all the items your self, not typically something you see in the US. Everyone in the area walks everywhere, so there are distinct walking paths vs. bicycling paths, and all pedestrians have the right of way in the cross walks. That being said, situational awareness is key, as vehicle speeding signs are mostly a suggestion rather than the rule. Folks park on the sidewalks, as no one parks on the street. Almost no one except for tourists walk with their phones out, as locals keep a good eye on vehicles and fellow pedestrians. Overall I would like to thank the staff for the generosity, and help with some of the simple tasks that I found challenging due to the language barrier, overall making my trip a success. Just outside Warsaw, but relatively well connected by train, is the HIR Jozefow; an idyll on the edge of extensive forests and a small tributary of the Vistula, the Swider. A relaxing stay is guaranteed simply because of this location. In addition, the house offers many recreational opportunities, from the spa area to the golf and tennis courts and bicycle rental to a ropes course for children, which offer new varieties every day. On arrival at HIE Jozefow a room upgrade and various nicely designed amenities were waiting for us. The view from the balcony glided over the abundant trees of the hotel property, the playgrounds and sports fields as well as the golf courses. The afternoon sun, when it seemed, heated us up strongly. The beds were of high quality and provided a restful sleep. If you wanted, you could choose from the richly filled (paid) minibar or help yourself to the other cold and hot drinks provided free of charge. In the bathroom, only the ancient shower curtain, which was to be replaced by a fixed shower enclosure, disturbed. Even showering in a bathtub is probably no longer quite up to date, but practicable for sporty condition. Culinary highlights of our stay were the visits to the restaurant Luna & Sol of the hotel. The new chef knew how to create an offer that goes far beyond the level of a usual Holiday Inn, especially in the evenings; and this at a reasonable price level. Whether you helped yourself to the extensive buffet or put together an à la carte menu yourself: local, fresh products, cleverly prepared, always contributed to a successful evening. Of the leisure facilities, we once again made intensive use of the spa area during our stay. The swimming pool and the two saunas promised a varied stay almost at any time. Unfortunately, the indoor pool has only five, quite uncomfortable, because much too hard loungers (without pads), which should be exchanged for those much more comfortable loungers from the relaxation area of the spa. We would like to take this opportunity to thank two people who made our stay extremely pleasant, on behalf of the many employees we met: On the one hand, the Front Office and Reservation Manager who always had an ear for our concerns; on the other hand, the General Manager did everything in his power, to give us a feeling of well-being during our days in ”his” house. Even in its 15th year of existence, the Holiday Inn Jozefow more than lives up to its reputation as a 4-star first-class hotel. The standards that the management practices in this house should give other hotels an example of how upscale hotels should and can function despite the current, worldwide difficulties.
