Booked the room a couple of months ago, for the end of April. Check-in day arrived at 7pm and I was told there had been a mistake and they couldn't give me a room because the hotel was closed. At MY request I was given the name of a hotel/hostel where, and I quote, "you can go and say we'll send you". Not even a phone call was made on my behalf, according to them I should have wandered alone to places I don't know to go and ask, without reservations, for a room to sleep in. I spent an hour on the phone with Booking who fortunately found me an alternative solution. I probably should have chosen a much more expensive hotel since the price differences are reimbursed by Hotel Le Romantica. From a 3-star hotel I expect a little more competence and availability, given that there was a lack on their part and it was not my mistake.
