Booked this marvel based on the reviews and was very happy to have done so. It certainly lives up to the image of being a 5-star property even though called a boutique hotel.
The rooms are spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Our room came with a balcony and gave it a rustic French look.
Breakfast was on the 2nd floor and the buttered croissants and the freshly served coffee were divine.
All staff at the hotel were always spotted with warm smiles and were ever ready to assist.
I would definitely return to the Dhavara Boutique Hotel the next time I visit Vientiene, Laos.

The hotel location is good, but the facilities are very old compared to the price and there is no parking lot.
The breakfast in the morning was very poor considering the cost of accommodation and it was noisy due to construction across the hotel.
