Hotels near Kreuz am Haseleck, Vienna

We arrived late evening and the checkin was very easy. Staff very helpful. the room was very spacious for 2 large suitcases and still lots of room for king size bed, and a small table and chairs (Sitting area). Good bathroom facilities and good shower. We choose to stay just out of the city to save on price and it was very easy to walk to to the Metro station (10 min) and then a few stops to the city centre. Breakfast very filling and lovely sitting area. The area around the hotel is very quiet and relaxing. This was my first time in H+ Hotels and from the Wien hotel, we also stayed in Salzburg H+ hotel. Certainly not a basic hotel but very comfortable.

Mixed bag here. The hotel is walking distance to the Stadthalle, our main reason for booking. Lots of transport links around. Many Ubers and bolts, and about 30/40 minutes to the airport via taxi. Room size was adequate, with a mini fridge, which was unplugged with food and drink inside. It didn't really cool well, when we managed to plug it in. The beds were comfy. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, but no milk. Room had electric blinds which were cool, and room was good and dark when the curtains were closed. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard, nothing special. But still good to start the day with. Rooms on the street side are very very noisy. The hotel is near a shopping mall, so deliveries 5am-10am every morning. Vehicles lloading, banging, noise, men shouting, doors slamming etc. But not really the hotel's fault. At night people smoke outside. So you can't really open windows overnight if you want a decent night's sleep. The room got very stuffy and no real aircon. The cleaning staff start very early, around 9am, so again prospect of good sleep is hit and miss, but they are very friendly and polite. Room generally clean, but there were hairs in the sink and shower. Also hairs on the supposedly clean towels. Staff mostly friendly and accommodating. However, the price of drinks seemed to change every round, (normally increasing). There was one member of staff who had the most appalling attitude. On our last night the shower flooded badly, into the hallway of our room. We couldn't shower or use the toilet. We phoned reception. The staff member claimed he didnt understand what bathroom is flooded means. After 5 attempts at explaining. He said he would send a colleague up. Surprise! Surprise! No one came. We needed sleep due to early flight the next day. We went down to reception, we were ignored, treated with contempt, eye rolls, and he told us he couldn't help, he said he was on his own. So sending someone was a LIE!? He was at the bar pouring drinks slowly, while looking at us blankly and rolling his eyes. He demanded we take a seat, no apologies, no offer of a solution. Basically appalling customer service and no communication. He was quick to check in guests that came to reception, inbetween pouring drinks deliberately slowly to avoid us. The only thing he said was he was on his own and there were no spare rooms. Eventually, he came to our room and saw the problem. With a bad attitude he did try to unblock the drain to no avail. We were lucky enough to have him mop up the floor and give us more towels, upon us asking, no offer. The staff in the morning when we checked out were apologetic when we told them, which we appreciated, and did make us nice coffee's to go. Unfortunately it doesn't take the bad taste away, and we had a poor night's sleep as a result of the stress. No one deserves contempt, utter rudeness and unhelpfulness as a paying guest, especially when we should have been resting, ready for flying

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeeping did an exceptional job, ensuring that everything was in order and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. One standout feature of this hotel was the complimentary mini bar. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only was it stocked with a variety of beverages and snacks, but also that I had the option to customize the items according to my personal preferences. This level of flexibility and attention to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. The service provided by the hotel staff was another highlight of my stay. They were genuinely warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience, especially the Austrian breakfast offered. The variety of dishes, including traditional Austrian favorites, was a treat. The quality of the food was excellent, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.

First time for me in a Hostel and these guys made sure my experience was memorable. They were very welcoming and always smiling. The rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. The lounge area had a lot of chill spots, a pool table, a fussball table. At the bar I asked the bartender to make me a cocktail that was not on the menu and he was more than happy to do so. I really appreciated that! The metro station is right downstairs, and you have 5 stations to get to the city center, which is really helpful because in the center of the city are all the tourist attractions except Schonbrun. They have breakfast every morning and you can choose to pay 7 euros to eat. Or not. Not the best breakfast I've had but it does the job. Also, another con would be that there is no other piece of furniture in the room other then the beds. I found myself needing a chair or a small table lots of times. Overall an awesome stay! Would totally recommend! I will definitely come back!

Overall a great hotel and walking distance from the schonnburn Palace and zoo. The hotel has good service and well equip to rooms including and espresso machine for your daily coffee and tea in room. We food was also good as we only had breakfast. Overall size of the room was okay and it was quite comfortable. Lot of food options in supermarket in walking distance from the hotel. Tram and public transports are also available within walking distance from the hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel for stay in Vienna. The price is quite value for money. We stayed for five nights in July 2022 and paid around 430 EUR excl Breakfast.

Jazz In The City Hotel 28 February - 2 March 2023 Room 500 5 stars for its cleanliness and service! Location: We took the Vienna Airport Cab from the airport to the hotel. We paid Euro 37 (one way). It was very convenient. It took about 30 minutes. The driver drove carefully and was on time to fetch us at the airport. The hotel is accessible to the underground and shopping area. Reception: Excellent and very helpful! We were able to check in early and the room was already ready when we arrived. Room: Modern, fresh and very clean indeed! The bedsheets, pillow covers, towels and bed were all immaculately clean and dust free. It has all the amenities that you need. Our room was located in a quiet area. Bathroom/Toilet: Very clean indeed! Breakfast: Excellent breakfast! You can order sunny side up or omelette which is freshly cooked. Very clean and fresh breakfast area. Check out: Fast and effective! Recommendation: Why not paint the ceiling of the room white and paint the water pipes black? It will give a smooth, clean and fresh feel. The location of the hotel is very good, diagonally opposite to the State Opera House, about 400 meters walk to the Golden Hall, close to the Mozart Cafe, the transportation is very convenient, about 100 meters to the subway station, the price is also good 👍 service attitude is very good 👍 If I have the opportunity to go again, I will choose this hotel

Location is king! Next door is the pedestrian street, which is also a palace-style house. The front desk service is very nice, free water, highly recommended!

Nice hotel, budget clearly in the name. I was staying there as it was close to Prater amusement park so that’s one good point if you’re willing to stay somewhere near one of the main attractions. However my main issue was that my shower has nothing to hold the actual shower as it was broke so basically water was going everywhere and directly into the middle area of my body (shown in image below). The toilet light was automatic not one where you can switch it on and off which annoyed me which didn’t help for sleep and I was waiting ages for light to go off. Probably won’t stay there again

Hotel is next to the Vienna main station, many restaurants are inside the station so the location is good. But you can hear the noise next to your room easily. Still recommend it
