Here’s a detailed one: This is not our first stay at ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof, and both times have been awesome—especially for early arrivals, as they consistently manage to allow early check-in. Location & Access • The hotel sits right in front of Vienna’s main train station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), making arrivals and departures effortless. • The airport connection is straightforward: the station is about 15 minutes from Vienna International Airport by train. • If you’re comfortable exploring on foot, the area is actually quite close to Vienna’s old town, with easy walks or short tram/U-Bahn hops to the Ringstraße sights. Room & Comfort • Rooms are neat and well maintained. • Towels and bed linens look and feel as good as new, adding to the fresh, clean impression. Service & Consistency • Staff are accommodating, particularly with early check-in requests—a big plus for travelers with morning flights or trains. • Given our repeat stays, the consistency in service and room quality stands out. Overall: A dependable, clean base with excellent transport links and friendly service—ideal for short stays or as a start/end point for your Vienna trip

Right next to the train station. Friendly reception and efficient. Free tea, coffee and water at the lobby - the extra perk which is not expected. Clean tidy rooms. Bathrooms are nice sized. Not tiny. Appreciate Ibis Wien Hbf very much.  And thank you Rafael for handling our queries and helping as much as you could.

This affordable hotel offers exceptional value and transit convenience. Located steps from metro and train stations, it features clean, spacious rooms, an efficient staff, and a cozy lobby with complimentary water, coffee, and tea. My choice of accommodation for next visit.

The air-con only gave out weak wind and the whole room looked a bit dark but the location is very good.

I never stay in Ibis for long time ago, this time I choose Ibis because I arrived in Vienna quite late and I have to go to the airport after my stay in Vienna. Ibis is price right and perfect in location, just next to the central station, and 15 mins travel to the airport. However, except the bed, there is almost nothing in the room. And the worst thing is they gave me the disable room , even I stayed for 5 nights. So, the first image in Vienna is very bad. The Central station is quite messy, you may disturbed by strange person that cannot understand what he said. Then, when you get in your hotel room, you feel like to go to the retirement home. I had no vacation feeling. Finally, the bed is very soft, after 2 nights my husband got back pain. Anyway, I still thanks for the front desk person to provide solution - put extra mattress and make it better. So, make your own choice, think what you expect. One more good point, they provided free water , coffee and tea at the lobby.
